    I'm just watching "In this Corner with Russ Anber" and they have a very long interview with Freddy Roach.

    Very cool interview. Shocking that he says "I don't care about the 3 million per pound, I have to protect my fighter." (I'm paraphrasing) and "Every ounce Oscar has to lose is an advantage for us, I'm not gonna give him anything. I have to protect my fighter"

    anyways if i feel like it i might do a full transcript of the interview but it will take me a long time.

    True. They should have included in the contract a clause stating that if Oscar doesn't make the weight (147 lbs) as agreed, then the fight is off"

    If the contract only state that Hoya has to pay certain amount of money for every extra pound, then Pac will have to fight, otherwise He will be sued.

    he did obviously thats why he signed it at 147. Now he is putting the pressure on.

    if he hadn't seen this problem coming then there wouldn't be all these clauses. Of course he is not gonna pull manny out of the fight, he is just talking ****. Like he doesn't care about 3 million $ yea right manny will fight without a corner if he has to

    He has the right to say that, they already have a deal and discussed the weight enough times during negotiations. Oscar agreed so I fully expect him to make the weight.

    Oscar won't make weight but I doubt Roach is going to pull Manny out of the fight if it's a pound or two over the limit.

    I heard hoya is now 151pnds. If that is the case, there is a good possibility that he can make it.

    I wouldn't be too sure about Oscar's announced weights. I remember all week before the Forbes fight the Oscar crew was boasting that he was at/around 147 and ready to go.

    Then weigh in time he was about a pound over the limit.

    So the pressure's on hoya. And he knows it, whatever the outcome. And while he is conscious about it he will surely eat more pressure.

    Fight's negotiated for 147. Roach is making the right call. If DLH's weight issue firces the fight to not happen, hope he gets sued.
