Roach Is Afraid Of Algieri...Thinks Its A Dangerous Fight

For the record, I'm not questioning whether Algieri is capable of giving Pac a challenging fight. He is. He fights in such a way that poses considerable risk to Pacquiao. Coupled with an evasive style in which he is constantly pivoting off the back foot, and having a long frame (5'10), Algieiri would also have a considerable reach advantage over Pac.

My point is and has been that Pac vs Algieri is not a fan friendly fight; much like how Canelo-Lara wasn't. And, quite frankly, Algieri doesn't deserve the opportunity, and boxing fans (buyers of PPV) don't deserve to be subjected to this substandard product.

 

this fight is not doing any where near 1mil buys but it doesn't have to.It will make between 400 and 600k buys plus they are getting that chinese money so the ppv it will be a success and algieri is only making 1mil.anyway I think its a good fight considering there's no one else marquez wants no part of manny.manny has already beaten Bradley twice everyone else is with al gaymon who has no intention of feeding his fighters to manny and just plans on giving his fighters easy tune up fights.algieri is a tough fighter with good boxing skills has speed and he is almost six feet tall and pacman is on the decline so who knows.it also shuts everyone up who was bitching about rematches and wanted pacman to fight someone new.

 

Algieri does not deserve this shot that's bullcrap algieri earned his shot at pacman by beating a champion in provodnikov who was seen as an unstoppable monster who destroyed alverado and almost killed top 3 p4p fighter in Bradley.This fight will be way more fan friendly than canelo vs lara algieri throws way more punches than lara.just because algieri is not well known does not mean its a bad fight this could be algieri's break out fight his chance to shine.

 

this running around the ring that algieri does isn't suited to pac's style.

i hope pac doesn't take him lightly.

Provodnikov beat Algieri, but was cheated by the local judges, two of them. Pac is better than Provodnikov and will beat Algieri up worse than Provodnikov did..............

 

No Freddy Roach is going to tell the truth when his fighter is fighting someone easy as hell to beat because he wants to make sure no one tunes in for the fight... LOL

Of course they are gonna act like it's a tough fight. They want it to sell.
