Roach is now starting to have doubts

There is absolutely NO WAY DLH comes in at 147 fight night. He's gonna have to kill himself to make 147 on Friday, he'll be well over the limit fight night. I can guarantee that.

But WTF Roach is talking about (if that statement is true)? Pacquiao was 146 vs. Diaz... now what if Diaz said the he won't fight PacMan if he's more than 140 fight night? Or JMM in the rematch that no more than 135? PacMan was well over 140 in that fight and JMM, a FW, still fought him... it's just not like that. Making 147 is tough for Oscar and that's all Roach will get. And that't the way it should be. Take it or leave it.

 

the article that i posted above says it is for the weigh-in and not fight night. and what is the big deal about pac rehydrating to 145 when marquez also did this in his pacman rematch by rehydrating to 141. guzman is the bigger bloater when he came up at 148 for his soto fight at 130.

 

He does...but you forget this is not only a physical battle but also a mental one. Pac is at a disadvantage due to the size disparity. So when terms are aggreed upon and the "BIG NAME" gets to change those terms.....it's like loosing the first battle before entering the ring.

Roach is looking out for PAC and making sure the terms are clear and set before the fight in Dec. Roch feels PAC can win and win by KO, but he knows PAC will have to be at his VERY best and fight almost a flawless fight to beat DLH. I don't see it happening but I think PAC could surprise us with how well he does.

 

DLH won't agree to a fight night weigh in. Problem solved.
