    Its something that he should get credit for as a trainer.

    He is obviously a great boxing mind, something i didn't think he was before.

    its not just me. Plenty of people used to think Roach is not that good a trainer. And even Oscar thought it was Roach who gave him the wrong gameplan against PBF when in fact it was just that he was shot. In retrospect, if it wasn't for Roach, Oscar probably wouldn't have pulled off a SD

    Exactly. Oscar blamed Roach for the loss against Floyd, but that fight was very close. If his boy Nacho Libre Bernstein would have been the trainer Oscar would have lost even worse perhaps.

    Not only that, he's one of those egomaniac trainers who gives himself way too much credit.

    So can we discredit him for saying that Bernard was shot and obviously had brain damage because he went to the wrong corner a couple of times in a heated championship fight?

    Yeah. I don't think he would put his fighter in with someone unless he truly felt that his fighter could win. And yeah Roach is a great fighting mind. You can see that with the kind of respect Toney has for Roach and you know Toney don't respect anyone haha.
