Roach did'nt coach Toney. Toney coaches himself. He just hired Roach to have a gym and surroundings so that he could train.
Toney has forgotten more about boxing than Roach will ever know.

 

I think the strategy he used to box clotey may come into play
I know floyds defence isn't the same, but pac was ripping into clotey with hard deep body shots to create openings. And pac isn't known for body punching

 

Pacquiao never really committed to that. He went downstairs occasionally but Clottey's hands remained high. Which is why that fight was a disappointment. Had PAC really dug into the body instead head hunting maybe we would have seen a good fight.

 

As I said it before, Floyd will lose to Pacquiao. Floyd is mentally shot, he is terrified and having nightmares of Pacquiao.

Very true. Maidana fights a particular style that Mayweather has usually been successful with in the past. Flat-footed, heavy handed, slow punching, huge pressure fighter. It's true that Maidana has an awkward over-hand right, but this is Floyd Mayweather we're talking about. That shouldn't be enough to cause Floyd Mayweather problems.

This is what worries me. Idk if the Maidana Floyd or if the Canelo Floyd will show up in the ring. That's why it's impossible for me to make a prediction.

 

Yea because the only way one of the greatest defensive fighters ever can defend himself is by rolling his shoulder. He doesnt have great understanding of distance, cant parry, catch or slip. Has terrible footwork aswell.

Body shots will be important for Pac to slow him down and more. Pacquiao can use the jab to the body and right hook to the chin. He used it a lot against Algieri, and it was surprisingly effective. I believe Marquez mentioned this as a good combination as well.

floyd can't shell up when pac comes in to attack. pac will be throwing 4-6 punch combo everytime if he does that.
