More like the Michigan shell, but it doesn't matter, just a variation of Philly shell. What Pacman has to do is focus much more on a body attack at close range and at the center of the ring use angles to get in range. Very few can get into a boxing match with Floyd and getting into one with Floyd never a good idea for Pacman. What Chino did was he got within punching range of Mayweather, but started using some defense, making Floyd miss. Idk if Manny can do that. Maidana after the Broner fight is severely underrated and tbh I'm not sure if Pacman is even on his level. Maidana might be the new darkhorse of the division that could beat anyone, and not just by ko or tko like we used to seeing.

He already showed that he knows how to beat it. If Oscar doesn't gas he wins an easy decision win. Floyd didn't win that fight Oscar lost it due to his gas tank.

I can tell by this post that you obviously have not either watched, or paid attention to a Floyd Mayweather fight. Yes he does counterpunch, but it is Mayweather who predicates himself on always being first, whether it be a jab t the midsection, a straight right or a feint a back up as his opponent walks into a check hook. Almost every boxer that he faces has stated that Floyd makes you fight his fight. Manny will undoubtedly do the same considering all 46 opponents have. And i wish people would stop saying well if so and so was able to do this to Mayweather, than Manny definitely will do better. That statement in itself is Asenine as Manny is not that fighter. Manny doesnt possess the size advatage that Maidana and Canelo did, so he wont be able to bully as in the case of Maidana. Add to that, the fact that even though the scorecards were crazy, Both times it was a MD, Mayweather clearly won those fights, a MD was controversial.

Wasn't Roach's main complaint about Ariza was that he was overtraining Manny, and Manny was not looking fresh on fight night?

Yeah Ariza was just a hack. The kind of trainer who latches onto a physical specimen and tries to claim credit for nature.

Oh, one more thing. Floyd won't use the philly shell. It doesn't work against a southpaw. because the straight left hand can stretch over and hit him. He'll focus on the high guard. Sometimes he does use it against southpaws(usually by instinct, aka a mistake) but every time he does he'll get caught. So, he won't be using it much. Especially against Manny Pacquiao.

he's definitely not going to sit in his shell and stay in the pocket pulling off another harry houdini. the corley fight showed how much of a shell mayweather will use come may 2nd.

Floyd didn't take **** away. Oscar got tired and couldn't throw it with the same pop and frequency by the end of the fight. Which was pretty much what Roger said was going happen mid fight in the corner.

    Dude no way.

Maidana is not very good still.

He gets dominated by Alexander again if that fight happens

Plus he didn't seem too enthusiastic about fighting Thurman

    I say Thurman stops Maidana

Shane got tired, judah, Corley, Cotto, Hatton, Canelo, Maidana, they all get tired because they miss too much. Pac will get tired too.

    According to Pac****s, losing 3-9 = almost winning. :nut:patsch

Fact: Floyd 117-111, 9-3 vs Oscar

Pacs fans forget that Floyd has length, speed and defense. You all put so much on Pacs punch output, but he won't be landing on Floyd like that, lol...

pacquiao fights at mid range..he needs to close distance he doesn[t have a jab, he lunges in, he lunges in with zero jab, he doesnt bend at waist or move his head,

he literally has zero way to close the gap. other fighters used crude strength and weight . pacquiao doesn't have that.

pacquiao will be getting stopped on may 2nd i can promise you this.
