I'm not sure Khan's chin will stand up to the sparring. Pacman is going to be ultra focused and he usually goes all out in sparring. Roach knows that he'll need some cover.
Khan has only sparred Manny once about 1 year ago, Khan has since then improved so much under Roach and also grown into 140 well. Khan with his reach, handspeed, and great fast jab will give Manny a great spar. I dont think Bradley will agree to spar Manny, because Khan is looking to fight him sometime in 2010.
Too late Bradley already sparred with Roach future star Benavidez at the Wildcard [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hC7TG5CHyfU[/ame] 5:32
I doubt Bradley would do this unless they pay him out the wazoo. Bradley's gunning for a fight with Pacquiao, not a sparring session.
yeah really considering Roach has talked about matching Khan with Bradley, bringing T-Brad in for sparring with Manny probably benefits Roach being able to scout Bradley first hand
Berto wouldn't be a good sparring partener for Pac. Sure he has great speed, but he doesn't keep his chin protected and overall his defense has lapses in it. Bradley has a very tight defense in addition to his handspeed, and is a very smart, technical boxers. I think this is an excellent decision.
I disagree. There are some simliarities between Mayweather and Bradley and his a lot to do with their balance. It's just that by nature Bradley is a more aggressive fighter, and I haven't seen him do the things that Mayweather does on the ropes.
yeah exactly...whos to say "because roach wants it" bradley jumps...news flash...bradley is a champ and not some sparring partner
I agree with some of the posters that Bradley may not do this because of a potential fight with Khan, but if Roach does manage to get Pac some sparring with Bradley for the fight (is it even signed?) I may have to put my money on Pac.
why would you spar against someone who you would potentially see as a future opponent in your next 1-2 fights?
