Better and proven are sadly two different things. Paulie is more PROVEN. And you give names like Ortiz ffs.

Learn to read. I never said Peterson and Ortiz are more proven than Paulie. I said they would beat Paulie.

Hatton had planned to fight Paulie before the Lazcano fight. That's why they were both on that card.

It is still considered hand picked. My meaning of hand picked is a fighter that you believe has not a chance or little chance of beating you. The John vs Juarez was an example. For John, Rocky was no threat what so ever. Jeez, he just got over the cold three days before the fight. This is the fight game and the under dog has beaten the champ that is suppose to win. Rocky the movie, it is just not a movie, managers do hand pick fighters or weaker champs to make their guy look like superman.

Well, as you can see I was not one that pegged him to beat the best 140 fighter in the world. I don't know about Torres and Holt being garbage, Paulie can't crack an egg even if the egg had a small crack to start with. By the way, I am not a Paulie hater, but just voicing my opinion.

Good points. I just feel that Torres and Holt are second tier fighters whereas Bradley, Malignaggi, Witter and Hatton are on a nother level.

Well, let's see what Holt has to offer when he fights Bradley. At least he has the balls to take the Bradley fight. Another thing, Bradley beat Witter and I believe he defended his title once. What do we really know about Bradley? I believe when he fought Witter he was not even ranked in the top twelve. If he beats Holt or stops him, I would like to see him against a list of opponents like Nate, Marquez, the IBF champ who for the life of me can't remember his name right now or even the Pac vs Hatton winner. I am not saying Bradley does not have the goods, but would like to see him tested a little more starting with Holt who could get a lucky punch or elbow in.

Malignaggi was the one calling Hatton out. Plus he was ranked #2 at LWW, and a belt holder, and so was the natural opponent for Hatton, not a handpicked gimme.

Haha! Exactly!! That's just what I wanted to say.

In fact. I remember Big ****in' Reg before the fight, going on about how Paulie is just too slick, skilful and fast for Ricky. How Ricky is just NOT good enough to get anywhere near Paulie. Haha. You just have to love that!

It's great to see how delusional the Ricky haters are on here. How they completely twist absolutely everything about him to suit their own agenda, even and maybe especially history!

EDIT: I ****ed up here. Seems I was wrong to say that Reg was talking up a Malignaggi win before the fight. Sorry to Reg.
