Watch the YouTube video where he admits he would fight animals.

Honestly to me it doesn't matter as I only care for his boxing. But people who follow and trash Floyd outside of boxing should also consider the negatives about pac.

You just hate Floyd. But in regards to Manny and tax evasion I think it is interesting. As was mentioned if Floyd did that you would be blowing up about it. I am not a fan of taxes(who is) but it is mandatory and you will ultimately have to pay them. He then uses some of the early ppv money to buy a new house(again). I dunno , it doesn't seem like Manny has a good advising team. either that or he isn't very bright. Hence why I said neither are really great role models to me.

I wouldn't blink twice if I heard Floyd was evading taxes and he probably is lol good for him. Evading taxes is a FAR, far cry from the other stuff you hear about him.
What ever happened to that staff of his that he had legs broke for something he didn't actually steal? I take it they settled out of court?

Manny Pacquiao has presented us with an out of the ordinary topic of conversation.

In his latest interview with Playboy magazine, he admitted to being an avid fan of **** fighting.

    Bad move Pac-man.

Before I dive into why this was such a bad idea, let me remind you of how great a person Manny is perceived to be.

This guy is a member of Congress in the Philippines, he is an army reservist and is considering one day running for president of the country. He does a ton of community service work and generally comes off as a well-intentioned human being.

That’s why admitting to watching live animals peck each other to death is not his greatest idea yet. CBS Sports columnist Gregg Doyle goes into a bit of the details as to why it’s such an inhumane sport:

A ****fighting rooster is fitted with a 3-inch knife that is attached to its left leg, where his natural spur has been shaved to a nub to accommodate the foreign instrument of death. When its handler puts on the razor, the rooster is bothered, irritated. Angry. He picks at it, pecks at it, until he sees the other rooster standing in the fighting arena. And then he attacks, and is attacked in return. They go at it until one of them cannot go on, generally because one of them has been destroyed. Sometimes both have been destroyed.

It’s not on the same level as dog fighting, but it’s the same concept: watch two animals that don’t know any better fight to the death for humans’ enjoyment.

    That sickens me.

Sure I eat meat, and enjoy it like most Americans. Who doesn’t? But those animals aren’t tortured; those animals aren’t fighting for their lives while people gamble on if they can survive. It’s the same mentality of dog fighting, just a different animal that isn’t normally a household pet. It’s malicious and cold-hearted in both cases.

Pacquiao didn't go into details as to how involved he is in the sport, whether he trains them or is just a mere spectator. It's also worth mentioning that the sport is perfectly legal in the Philippines, although it's illegal in all 50 states.

It’s a huge gray area, and you can call me a hypocrite, but there’s a difference and I now have trouble viewing the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world in the same glowing light I once did.

Floyd is a jerk. That's why so many people despise him. Normally people line up before undefeated champions. There are people who don't like Ward either, but most of them respect him and give him credit, which is not the case with Floyd.

Pacman used to own hundreds of these fighting roosters in a sprawling farm/ranch he bought for the sole purpose of breeding them. They say he has since sold or given away these expensive roosters after being seriously involved in born-again Christian churches. In his native Philippines, being involved in such a "politically incorrect hobby" isn't viewed in such a negative light as say, dog-fighting, but in the majority of the Western world he will obviously be called out on it.

In any case, I assumed Manny had refrained from c0ckfighting ever since he disposed of his considerable breeding colony, but I may be wrong.

Yeh tbh i find torturing animals alot worse then beating up or cheating on another human being.. while one is maybe done out of frustration or greediness the othet is plain sadistic... hell i refuse to buy anything other then free range eggs, i feel guilty if i think that the animal producing my meals is not leading a healthy life
