Preparing for Hatton and formulating a plan is easy work. No mystery on what to expect. That's the luxury for Team Pacquiao. Dealing with Hatton on the night is a different story, but the prep work is a cinch. This seems obvious.

    truth... :deal

Selfkill is a die hard fan of mexican fighters so it would be very natural for him to act that way towards pac and his fans.

There has been no excuse for the Morales loss, or the losses to Junior Jones. He was badly beaten by Jones, and outgunned in the rematch. Likewise, Morales was a top draw fighter in his prime, and Marco ran into a prime Morales in the first fight and lost in a razor thin decision. I assure you, everything I say regarding Barrera and Pacquiao is what I truly believe and has not been "worked out".

Marco Barrera was well beaten by Manny Pacquiao.

I don't dislike Manny Pacquiao. I have an opinion to express, and I do my best to rationalize it.

I hope there isn't a misconception that I feel the need to bring up barriers whenever my favorite fighters lose. Every fighter I've ever became a fan of is in defeat. I liked Margarito after he lost to Paul Williams, I saw the second half of the fight whilst in a bar with my family. I was like, "who's this guy". I became a fan of Marco in defeat to Morales, just as I became a fan of Andy Lee, Jesus Rojas all in losing efforts. I have no problem with my fighters losing. I'm the most loyal Mijares fan on ESB. I didn't go anywhere and I stayed vocal after the Vic fight.

I suppose so. It's a shame though. A great poster in other ways, but his opinions on Pacquiao are the dictionary definition of bias.

    It's untrue.

People will have their opinions, but I didn't know where Marco, Mijares, Marquez, or Margarito came from when I became a fan.

I didn't even know Margarito's name until I looked on the internet. Mijares sounds Mexican? As for Barrera and Marquez, it never occurred to me when I was 15-17 that these must be Mexican fighters. Why would I have a connection with Mexico, I don't get it.

one of the best post. concise and analytical indeed.

pbf fans are always harping on his superior skillset, which is true. but ATGreatness is based on achievement and not potential.

pac achievement based on his "limited" skillset is simply astounding to say the least. pbf could have conquered top 30 or 20 atg in my opinion if he only fought better competition.

I'm not bias for Mexican fighters. Why has nationality got to be an issue. They are fighters, that is all. I do not consciously take Nationality into consideration - you're going to have to take my word for it.

I don't discredit Pacquiao, I try and keep thinks in perspective.

All his best wins are against aged and war torn opposition, and Marquez beat him both times in my opinion. This guy is being made out to be a top 50 p4p fighter. :bart
