Mayweather takes more pride in how many fights he sold than how he actually looks in the fight.

You can bet if Mosley-Mayweather considerably out sells Pac-Clottey, PBF will demand the bigger split.

Funny how Void fans claim he is the most exciting fighter in boxing history, yet Klitschkos are the most boring because they usually stop their opponents.

 

well, records would indicate that mosley is not what you would call a PPV attraction. floyd is the draw in that fight, but he's made himself a draw from different reasons than pacquiao, actually floyd is the opposite. floyd is not an exciting boxer. floyd doesn't have fans screaming for him when he enters the ring, but what floyd has found out is you can become a draw by having fans hate you aswell as love you, which even ali said that's why he was so popular earlier in his career. floyd also puts more promotion into his fights. like i said floyd's not exciting, so he has to work harder in the promotion to sell, which is why all his fights have 24/7, that's why floyd appears on tv so much, it's all to do with promotion, and now he's probably the biggest draw in boxing because of that. floyd will out sell pacquiao, not just because he's fighting mosley, but because he's the bigger draw than pacquiao for all the different reasons. the promotion from arum regarding the pacquiao-clottey fight has been rather poor, but the fight will still sell, because it's pacquiao, but it won't do as good as floyd-mosley.

regarding floyd and marquez selling one million being a shock, well i know if you asked all the supposed experts regarding that fight, you wouldn't of got many saying it'll do one million. roach himself said the fight will flop, saying no one is going to pay to see that? he's right, the fight had boring written all over it, so there must be a different reason other than excitement why floyd sells, and the quicker people realise that, the better.
