Roach says things like "Mosley doesn't bring enough money and is too dangerous for Pac."

Roach really does say crazy **** sometimes.

Nah that would be doublespeak. The resulting mental state would be doublethink.

"I will take the tests as long as they don't take too much blood."

People take that BS as "agreeing" to testing. How? How can you put the condition on your testing of not too much blood when the amount of blood is determined by the science of testing not some arbitrary judgment?

Still people accept that Pac will test. Still Team Pac keeps saying things that contradict reality.

I thought doublethink was the coined term from 1984. I didn't remember doublespeak actually being used.

That's great Freddie, but it'd be more optimistic news to all of us fans if it were coming from someone like Bob Arum, or Manny himself.

Roach says ALOT of things, cuz he can get away with it, being the trainer. They usually dont hold much water cuz he aint the promoter. And he aint the fighter, cuz if he was the fighter, he'd get hell from his promoter....
Thats why in postfights, Roach calls out fighters, and not Pacquiao

    Yep

    <--- ****ing genius

The term doublespeak was coined in the 1950s.[1] It is often attributed to George Orwell and his 1949 dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, although the term doublespeak is not actually used in the novel. Instead, the term "doublethink" was the key term used from which "doublespeak" was derived. This is borne out by the Online Etymology Dictionary, © 2010 Douglas Harper, as cited in dictionary.com: doublespeak is "coined on the model of 'doublethink' in Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four." As such, the passage from "1984" elaborating the concept of "doublethink" is of the utmost relevancy to the original meaning of "doublespeak":

You could be technically correct. I was just making the connection so people would understand the term.

If this fight does actually happen, does anyone believe there would probably be a re-match?
