Manny beat Marquez twice. Come on. Yes, Marquez visibly dominated Pac in the first fight but after being floored three times! in first round. 2 pts each, three of them. A scoring error made it a draw in which the judge who scored it wrong admitted it later.

 

it's not pac's excuse. it's a fact that when pac fought erik the first time, it was his very first fight @130 and erik was the much bigger guy at that time. even erik outweighed pac in the second fight, but the difference was much smaller at around 3 lbs.
