The main FLAW Pacquiao has that no one has mentioned is that he always leaps in with his punches {Because he's always the shorter guy with the shorter arms}.

That flaw alone will become his undoing against a fighter who has the skill-set to capitalize on it. And if there is anyone that can and will exploit that weakness, it is Floyd.

If Pacquiao cannot leap in with punches because his opponent is catching him with shots every time ... What does he do then????

If JMM was dissecting Pacquiao in both their fights ... what the hell do you think Floyd will do with more speed & power behind his shots????

All the Pacquiao fans who want to put some cash on him against Floyd ...
..... Look me up when its time.:yep

I tend to agree with you on this. Floyd is going to be a tall order for PAC. I think the style match up along witht he Physical advantages favor Floyd. But with that said I think Manny will present Floyd with a lot of problems that he's never really had to face in the ring. Floyd WILL have to adapt! And he'll have to control the pace and ring in order to beat Manny. That will be hard b/c PAC will be pushing the fight. The Jab will have to keep Manny honest and at bay so that PAC can't get close enough to catch floyd with his wide array of punches from all angles. I see a UD for Floyd in a very competitve fight. His hardest yet.

Good points from Roach, I also think Mayweather is lazy and overrated, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

It's not really a flaw that PAC leaps in with his punches given the fact that he is NOW setting things up properly. he'll feint or pop the jab before he leaps in with a lead left or right. It works wonderfully with his speed.

so what, those same people felt castillo beat floyd but i dont remember you defending their superior analytical skill in that fight. clowns are going to pick and choose which quotes support their agendas and claim the rest are wrong. a handfull of people will try and stick to the truth, a handfull will disregard the truth completely and the rest pick and choose that which supports their agenda.

I'll admit that Pacquiao has improved a lot over the years but his size disadvantage has yet to be fully exploited by any of his past opponents.

Pacquiao is very fast, very strong and that has gotten him by many fighters. But he will have Floyds Jab to contend with, the counter-punching, the defence, equal stamina with his own, and equal movement around the ring.

Pacquiao has never fought an opponent with all those elements. An opponent matching him elements for elements and with a size advantgage.

Floyd has everything needed to beat Pacquiao soundly.

Actually Pbf had about 2 or 3 fights at 140 actually. Please get your facts right rather that come out with crap. I picked Pacman to beat ODLH, DDD and Hatton. I would gladly bet a cool $1,000 that PBF will stop Pacman. I have seen a lot of Pacman and trust me Pacman loses this match up big.

I agree! Well...I agree floyd will win given he has all the talent and tools PAC has but is bigger and more technically sound. PAC has his style, work rate and "will" to win that will make him tough for Floyd. I see a clear decision win for Floyd but again....I think it will be Floyd's hardest fight to date.

Lol. Pac "cherry-picking" by going for Floyd. Good move by Roach.

I still don't believe Pac has faster hands nor is as explosive as Zab can be not to mention Zab is taller and has longer arms than Pac he also has a much better jab and didn't have to come in as much as Pac will have to do to land. Pac has a tendency to come in wide and wild which is why he's a counter-puncher's wet dream at times.

If you don't think PBF can time a guy like Pac who isn't hard to hit then I have a bridge to sell you. Look at PBF's connect % and his power connect % which is always near 50% his easily has the best connect % in boxing while his opponents average all time lows.:yep

I agree PBF will adapt like he always does the way he adapted to Hatton broke him down and stopped him it was a thing of beauty. Another key will be can Pac adapt especially in the mid to late rounds we all know PBF can adapt but can Pac? That's the million dollar question.
