That is exactly what I was thinking. Mayweather Sr was trying to be clever and Roach stayed classy and came up with the better lines.
Mayweather has no class. He is a terrible trainer and I don't think a very nice man-He does not have a good heart the way he mentions Freddie's health. I am not sure anyone else noticed that. He was referring to Freddie's parkinson's when he said "you are older than me now" . What else did he mean, and Lampley sort of distracted Floyd because he knew Floyd went too far. Floyd is mean and not a nice man and not a good trainer. He was a c level fighter also. At least Freddie Roach has a great fight on his resume vs. Cordoba. Floyd Sr. and Jr. are terrible for the sport of boxing. One is overrated as a trainer and the other overrated as a fighter.
The sad thing was that both Floyd and Roach are diminished former fighters struggling badly with their health. Judging by his speech pattern, i would say Floyd has to worry the most. Ricky got what was waiting for him when he hired floyd.
Freddie owned him badly. "Only time i need to be hard is with a girl." "FRED FRED when you get hard?" Off topic do trainers of the caliber of Roach and Senior train amateurs as well? Just wondering.....
I just watched it again, I'm in stitches here Freddy "It's over, the show is over, Jesus Christ!" and "Bye Floyd" :rofl
