Roach now training Cesar Chavez Jr

I don't think even Roach can do **** for this guy.

 

Interesting move. I don't even know who trained him before. His dad? I think I've only seen him fight once. It didn't do anything for me. Eh.

 

Maybe it helps, but JCC jr will never be a worldbeater whoever trains him.

 

Seems to be whenever a trainer gets a solid fighter he starts getting extremly overrated.

 

So he lets a promising "young" talent like Rigondeaux skate and takes on a no-hoper?? Roach must be looking to cash out soon. I can't see any other possible reason for this.


Chavez Jr doesn't even deserve to be trained by that one-eyed guy who mops the floors at Wild Card.

I don't understand what Roach could have seen in Chavez Jr, the guy is garbage.

 

Roach has a lot of fighters, I don't see why he is taking someone like JCC jr. He needs to focus on the talent he already has.

2. I don't think Roach "let" Rigondeaux get away. Rigo wants to go, he goes. Cuba couldn't stop the brother.

 

Maybe he thinks it will keep him young if he gets a fix 'er upper that needs that much fixing and already has a name.
