Of course he is going to look bad, his Pro Boxing Record it 0-0, and believe it or not his amateur record is also 0-0. His boxing skills are going to need a little TLC.

The mind has to be trained. I've seen former kick boxers, wrestlers etc who know a bit of boxing, get in the ring to spar and forget that it is boxing. They want to throw a kick or go for a takedown when things don't go their way. It's hilarious.

That's not good for Andrei. Looks like you had the right opinion of Andrei if Roach thinks he looks like a Fish out of water. His first bout better be against someone with little AM experience.

Jokes aside i could probably look good sparring Oquendo. The problem is AA has trained for MMA NOT boxing. All his natural instincts are MMA NOT boxing. He has done this all his life. To be perfectly Frank his boxing sucks. In MMA its great. He strikes with authority throws straight punches with decent torque but there two entirely diffrent sports. Couple this with AA's bad chin and you can see a recipe for disaster. It does my head in listening to the same tired repeated cliches about how good his boxing is. Compared to who?

In comparison to a Boxing Journeyman AA is well below average let alone against some of the best in the sport. I wish the guy the best as he seems like a nice fellow but this hype has to stop. Roach sold the hype when he fought Fedor. He knew it was crap. Now he's reneged on that. Roach should know better.

I actually think AA is one of the best boxers in MMA. And could be a decent pro in boxing.

I dont think Roach said he "looked like a fish out of water." It was the writer commenting on what he saw in there.

You should look up the clip against 95-5 amateur Andy Ruiz. AA got knocked down by him. Its on youtube.
