    Apologies if already posted.

Interesting...Roach wanting to remain in the limelight or a legit observation? Probably a mix of the two....

Back to front..Davison should've took a back seat and learnt from Roach..All very bizarre

i think roach could have possibly made the difference, tyson did have wilder hurt a couple of times and just didnt capitalize on it.

You know, Roach did say something before the fight that Wilder 'would not be able to handle Furys one-two' ....

You make tactical decisions in the heat of combat and every one of them comes with a risk. If Fury had opened up more he might have stopped Wilder or he might have got stopped himself. Then you can guarantee people (maybe Roach included) would be saying Fury should have played it safe considering he was so comfortably outboxing him and he isn't a known power puncher etc etc. Given the risks Wilder posed I think Fury and Davidson did exactly the right thing and the evidence of that is that they walked away (or should have walked away) with the win.

Surely observations best made between closed doors? Throwing a 26 year old under the bus, a guy who has worked his arse off to get Fury to that ring, doesn't reflect well on FR.

I hope Fury stands up for Davison, regardless of what truth there is to Freddie's criticism.

Yeah, I think he will. Davidson is the reason Fury is here now, not Roach, and I doubt we'll see him back for the rematch (maybe working the opposite corner?).

He's always there with subtle remarks or says to much. Talking to the media that he was gonna ask Pac to retire(couple years back), before actually talking to Pac first himself, don't know why he said that, just weirdly stupid. He can be very smarmy I think, but he knows his Boxing obviously !

Just to add, if he wasn't suffering with a debilitating illness I could see him in far more confrontations !

To discuss on TV a trainer from a team you were a part of..? Unless he was insulted during their work (or something like that) I am disappointed in Roach... :dunno

I get the impression Roach had been already told his services weren't required for the rematch, had nothing to lose, so went rogue.

Unfair of Roach to go public with these comments.

Freddie Roach living up to his surname.

Davison did an excellent job on the night and over the past 12-18 months.
