cockroach is just jealous that they had him working as the cut man rather than the main man. Obviously its boxing so theres always going to be some crossover between instructions for one fighter and instructions for another especially if they rely on boxing and moving.

Davidson is doing a good job but I agree with Roach that Tyson Fury could have stopped Wilder.

Not cool. To throw a guy that young under the bus.

Now that Davison has had the job of chief second I can't see him taking a back seat in the rematch either so Fury is going to have to choose since Freddie(who is probably the last "old time" great trainer together with nacho beristain) clearly wants to take over.

Make no mistake, Freddie is in no way overrated in terms of boxing knowledge, it's just an ego thing going on here

    bit distasteful from roach.
davison has done a grand job getting fury back ni shape and drawing/winning the wilder fight.
lots were saying he would be knocked out.

roach is like that old bloke in an interview that says "we need experience" but not willing to give people the experience to gain experience.

This. Fury should definitely stand up for Davison. I thought Davison did an excellent job and that he gave Fury proper instructions going into each round. I still think had Fury followed Davison's instructions better he would've walked out with the WBC belt, since he told Fury exactly what to do going into the 12th and Fury did the opposite and got dropped because of it. Also, as much as I like Freddie I find his comments disrespectful because he knew going into his arrangement with Fury that Davison was the chief second, so he should've kept this opinion to himself.

Seriously fellas? I think it's time some of you '' men '' put your fannies away and try to grow a **** and balls.

    '' He's only 26, he's been thrown under the bus ''

From the comments here, you watch it thinking Roach is gonna proper do him here but he hardly says **** all. Get a grip you bunch of fairies.

Shameful from Freddie. Hope Tyson distances himself from Roach and heaps praise on Davison now, send a clear message

If you don't see a desperate old man throwing sucker punches at a young up and coming man in that video, to try pinch his prize (elite fighter) then you don't see anything at all.
    Doing him the dirty

Roach just wants to be the main man in the re-match, looked a Furys purse and fancies that 10% next fight.

Fighting against Wilder, you are going to get hit eventually therefore there is merit in what Roach is saying. The right strategy is the blend of the two, be as elusive and defensive as possible but when you hurt and hit the guy make the most of it and don't let him off the hook.

I've noticed Roach sayng a few things over the past weeks that make it sound like he's making overtures to Fury to take over from Ben.
Roach has his 'nice guy charm' but it sure looks like he's trying to steal a fighter in plain view.

He's also mentioned this several times in interviews ...

"I don't steal fighters" ...... no, but going public about Joshua's alleged interest isn't exactly respectful of Joshua's current camp.

Roach is dying to have a top heavyweight to work with.
