Arum actually said he would not let JMM fight Pacquiao unless he fought Valero first!!:shock: This was before JMM got the big fight with Floyd but that's ridiculous.

 

Also, Mayweather did really good on PPV because he fought OSCAR! People watched the fight because of OSCAR not FLOYD!

You didn't say it and I indicated that in my post. But there are posts in this thread saying Hatton was washed up and DLH was drained or whatever. I guess I should have done the double quote but I didnt' want to back track. I got lazy.

But to your point. Yes. Weight matters for both guys. Pac has gone up in weight much better than I expected him too in all honesty. The question becomes how far can he go. You have guys here assuming he should be fighting the elite at 147 based on one fight. Going down may be harder for Mayweather but they need to be close on fight night. I've posted often that you should step into the ring at fight weight and that gets rid of a lot of the bull ****.

 

It's not that he just fought Rubio, but he put that **** on PPV! He was gonna do the same thing with this last worthless fight but luckily it's not happening with Mora now, hopefully!

Uhh...okay but that does not change the fact Floyd v Oscar and Floyd v Hatton did more than Pac did against them and it won't change the fact Floyd v JMM will do a lot more than Pac v Marquez II did. Floyd knows how to promote himself and he sells to his fans and haters!

Don't worry, the excuses always come. Add to that, that Floyd vs Marquez should easily double JMM vs Pac!

 

History may, or may not, come into play here. We have to see what happens with his next fight. Fans are fickle and Floyd walked away and Pac walked into his spot. After the money Pac made on his last fight he doesn't need another. He can go home to the islands and be a "god" for the rest of his life where his money is probably worth 10 times as much as here.

 

I never said weight doesn't matter, where did I say weight doesn't matter?, if weight doesn't matter we won't have weight divisions.

I never said DLH was weight drained in ANY of my posts regarding that fight nor did I ever say Hatton was washed up. If you don't know already I'm a Pacquiao fan and look down at excuses like those regarding those two fights, specifically the DLH fight where he(Pacquiao) was expected to get destroyed under 3 rounds.

The people who want him to clean out the 147 division are haters who are begging to see him lose and these ******s are better off ignored as Roach already made it clear that after DLH they're going and staying at 140. Think he confirmed that he belongs there with what he did to Hatton recently, not to forget being lineal #1 140 fighter in his first fight there, only a fight with Mayweather is considered a major risky/serious test at this point. Mayweather barely balloons on fight night and I doubt he will do so against Pac.

 

Arum is a bag of ****, I agree. He's a master of bull****. But he has common sense. I don't believe he wants Pac-Cotto at this stage.
