Roach on Margarito -- "He should be banned for life"

Freddie Roach did'nt know it at the time because he made those comments before Pac's fight with Cotto.....

......but he insinuates in this video that we can assume that Margartio plastered his wraps for the Cotto fight because we never seen Cotto take a beating like that.


So how in the hell does Roach defend why Pac should'nt have to randomly test for PED's, and state that Pac does'nt take PED's......when now anyone can say nobody has thorougly destroyed Cotto like how Pac did?

Cotto was a bloodier mess vs Pac than he was vs Margarito......and back then Roach was saying that we can insinuate that Margarito loaded his gloves vs Cotto because nobody had ever done that to Cotto???

If Roach can say that, who the **** is he to complain when someone states there is reason to be suspicios of Pac for the way he destroyed Cotto????

Its a two way street here my friends, and I'll say this about Freddie Roach....he's a clown that often times puts his foot in his mouth and does'nt known when to shut his trap.

 

Margo should never box again, he clearly used the wraps against Cotto and ruined Cotto's career as he was never the same after.

Roach is spot on; Cotto's dominance was broken down by them illegal wraps, Margo knew exactly what he was doing.

 

Cotto looked like a wounded animal versus Clottey and Pac. Cotto outboxed Clottey because Clottey stopped boxing. Clottey lost that fight because he did not let his hands go. Cotto went into survival mode in both those fights. Once you lose that killer instinct (when you are the type of fighter cotto is) you might as well hang em up. Margocheato started and Pac finished it.

**** margarito. the more boxing gets rids of these sort of cheaters, the better. i say boxing should take drastic measures and use margarito as an example to tell boxers you "try this ****, then you better get a new job".

Can anyone quantify the degree to which Margarito's gloves if loaded against Cotto, would have had on Cotto?

I mean obviously they would have had more effect than if unloaded, otherwise why load your gloves, but I can't help but think the effect it likely would have had is being overstated in people's minds.

It seems like some people think it was the equivalent of using brass knuckles.

 

He should be banned for life unless Cotto wants a rematch then that should be sanctioned as a one off and held in Puerto Rico. Win lose or draw ban comes back into effect.

Wow I never saw his pic, My wish is that if margo comes back, people dont let him fight by throwing stuff at him so officials have to bring him into the lockers, what he did is no joke, not 1 year. what a better proof that this pic

 

What about the people on here who stick up for Margarito saying that they really didn't find anything in the gloves and that the illegal wraps were simply old? Margarito crying like a little girl to Roach doesn't fall in line with that theory.

 

I wasn't attempting to answer your question, because it's not answerable. I didn't say it was the same deal either. It's more in response to the way I interpret your comment and how it seems you're significantly downplaying the act of loading one's gloves and the impact it can have.

 

Can't say better than that and this is Roach who knows the sport perfectly well and is associated as deep as anyone can in it and has also fought. Margarito should be sentenced for life in prison or suspended for life, one year is an insult in a brutal sport like this as Roach said it could have killed Cotto or ruined his career completely. To see a group of pigs actually back Margarito up and try to defend it is even more disgusting, ***gots who back that up are not boxing fans they are pigs who deserve to spit on right on the face.
