You have to take into account that Roach isn't well enough either. I'm just saying.

Vazquez was a decent opponent I'll agree but Narvaez/Mathebula are not good enough. Now its Arce next, cant say I'm too impressed. Maybe I'm demanding a bit too much from Nonito but he's quickly gone from being viewed as boxings next superstar, to the one who's ducking Rigo (not a term I use frequently).

I guess I'll hold my opinion until after the Arce fight. Its a fight he should be winning in emphatic fashion, stylistically I think Nonito is prime to beat the **** out of Arce and anything less would reflect badly on him. After that, he needs a big opponent.

Methubala was a tough opponent. That size advantage of his, would give anybody a problem.

Rigo would body punch him to the gut though..

It wasn't Mathebula's size so much as Nonito trying too hard for the 1 punch KO. If Nonito used his jab more to work his way in to the body and broke him down, it would have been a much smoother job.

People like to forget about that fight. That is why I am not so sure about him. He will get caught eventually and when he does how will he react? The only time we have seen is him running as soon as he got hurt.

Guys like Nonito and Mares can catch him and hurt him and they are more skilled than Cordoba. At this point those fights are toss ups just because of that.

i see that lots of Montiel fans cant get over the fact that their idol suffered one of the most devastating knock down in history. The hate for Donaire is craZY. the man has koed 2 of the most fearsome champions ever.
