While I get what Roach is saying, he's not a great fighter so we can only take so much from this comment... That being said I still agree Nonito is avoiding him.

Plenty of people had that fight for Cordoba. He did plenty in the last rounds. I still remember the fight because I was hyping Rigo up to the guys we were watching the fight with and they said he is extremely boring and looks afraid of a fight.

Also the gif did remind me that it was not an off balance KD but an actual reset of the brain for a second which is concerning considering it was caused by a jab. I think he got really hurt by that and did his best to avoid it happening the rest of the fight.

How the hell did Cordoba win the fight?? He didnt land **** all night??? Rigondeaux boxed his ass easy and got his his bike landing occasional punches while back peddling while Cordoba could land NOTHING as he chased Rigo around the ring. Thats all he was doing, chasing rigo without landing anything. You want to see a real knockdown in that fight??? The body punch Rigo landing on Cordoba that sent him down. You cant win a fight by just running after your oppoent without landing anything. Rigo was in easy control of that fight.

With that said Rigo fought a boring fight and the wrong fight for the pro ranks. HE has learned from that fight and has adjusted accordingly giving us more KO's as a result. Now instead of cruising to a decision you can see him pressing for the KO in everyfight after Cordoba as before you could see he was never pressing for a KO.

I recommend you watch the fight again.

Donaire just should fight Rigo instead of hiding behind tweets. The fans clearly wants it, so he need to man up and take the fight.

You prove yourself by fighting the best. Nobody wants to see Donaire beat Arce to a pulp. Where's the fun in that kind of mismatch?

Hey no doubt he won, but the fight brought up questions about him being able to handle adversity in the pro ring (without going Dirrell). His next batch of opponents didn't ask those questions at all.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to fight Cordoba again, if the tv networks will have it. For one, Rigo's being ducked by some, Cordoba might take it for short money, it's not like he's got other opportunities. And Rigo gets to prove he can win that one in style, and that his recent aggression is not due to weak comp.

You dont think the opposition has anything to do with it?

The fight was a long time ago and I never said I had Cordoba winning. I said some people did so the SD is not really out of the question. You make it sound as if he dominated in a one sided UD which was not the case and hell no I do not want to watch that fight again.

Ok so he wants to fight Donaire next, surely that fight will TEST him right?? Why fight cordoba again, he wants to do better than that, he wants to fight Doanire, why dont you want to see that fight?? He makes no sense, you are contradicting yourself.

He should fight a good opponent, but not Nonito? So which one is it?
