On The Brian Kenny Show on ESPN Radio, host Brian Kenny asked Roach what should happen to Margarito and his trainer, Javier Capetillo, if they're found to have attempted to use plaster to make Margarito's fists into hardened casts. Roach didn't hold back in his answer.

"They should be banned from boxing for life," Roach said. "We don't need those types of people in boxing."

That would be a tragic outcome for the sport.

A tragic outcome would have been if someone was permanently injured because Margo was putting hardening plaster in his wraps... thats what would have been tragic... If he is found guilty of using something like plaster of paris, I say good riddance, get him out...

I think most people would agree that if its proven without a doubt that they plastered Margarito's gloves, yes, they should be banned permanently from the sport!

it would hurt the sport now because margo is a future superstar but banning him and his team for life would avert multiple tragedies and would discourage fighters from trying to cheat. it will be a bitter pill for sure because i loved watching margarito but still, there's a lot of cleaning up to do in boxing and this is one of them.

    if proven, ban them forever

Yep, but the sport doesn't need that type of controversy.

This could be alot bigger than just Team Margarito. We shall see.

It would be the correct thing to do but terrible for Boxing.

It casts a shadow on boxing as a whole, who does what behind closed doors.

Backhanders while they wrap in private!Steroid abuse......

it would probably do good for the sport actually. The issue may be negative, but the solution is definitely for the better. If it would affect the sport, then be it.
