Roach: Oscar doesn't have the pop and explosion of Manny Pacquiao punches!

Roach will about just say anything. The **** he said before the Hopkins vs Calzaghe fight as well.

 

Yeah,he must know....that Pacquiao is paying him and he should say stuff like that.He's been going on and on that Oscar is shot and this and that since the fight was signed.Wonder what will he say after dec 6th?

 

Do you think Pacquiao's trainer is going to come out and say, "my guy doesn't have the pop or explosiveness of Oscar"?

 

Freddy should be getting a cut of the PPV money on this one.
He's been the best promoter of this fight since day 1.

The more people start to wonder if Manny actually does have a shot at doing the unthinkable, the better the fight will do. $$$

Even when Roach was training DLH for Mayweather, he said that Pacquiao's shots had more snap and pop to them than DLH's......
......he also mentioned DLH's shots were alot heavier, because there was alot more mass thrown behind them.

Here's an example......Holyfield vs Foreman....two fighters that once fought eachother.

Holyfields shots had more pop and snap behind them......but because of Foreman's much bigger mass, he carries alot more power.
Even without the snap, Foreman could land a glancing blow, and not only move, but hurt an opponent.

At the end of the day, Holyfield cant compete with Foreman powerwise, which is what Pac is up against DLH.

Pity that DLH does'nt move or throw his shots with the mollases slow nature of an old George Foreman.....or we'd be seeing a fight come Dec. 6th!

 

Lol, the trainer is the last person I want to hear from when it comes to fighters lol.I'd rather have both fighters trainers talking about their fighters and their fighters opponents. I say this because trainers have to big up their man and belittle their opponent. I'd rather see them argue during an interview lol...

I think it has to do with Floyd Sr.'s mitt routine where they concentrate more on speed of reflexes than pop. I'm sure Oscar's got pop when he does his heavy bag work. Pac goes all out except in the double end bag and the speed ball.
