I have always seen Pac as an accumulative fighter, with the occasional one punch KO, I think he pressed hard for the majority of the fight, but even the most fit individuals suffer from fatigue, in particular when pressing that hard. I don;t think he could have pressed any harder.
Is that so? http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/story/_/id/7180689/manny-pacquiao-motivated-fight-juan-manuel-marquez Pacquiao Motivated For Marquez
Pacquiao let up on Margo in the later part of the fight I guess because he has a "heart", but when I watched it live, it looked to me that he was just being careful not to take anymore punishment and/or get stopped. Freddie told Pac in the corner and Pac later said too that they just wanted him to be careful and Pac even told Kellerman that he was lucky to get out of the fight. And I was dissing the TS for adding the extra parts about Pac under training and underestimating Marquez. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUpYedUfERg[/ame]
I'd agree on both accounts. He did carry Margo in that he didn't finish him. But Margo was always there to be hit and pac's a very dangerous puncher so as long as he's hitting someone its going to leave a mark. I'm pretty positive the words "shoe shine" have never been uttered in pacquiao's presence. Nor will they ever be.
He didn't underestimate ****. JMM gave him the business in that fight. How in the hell could you underestimate a guy who arguably beat you twice?
