Mosley knocked Margarito out because he "could."

Pacquiao did not knock him out because he "could not." Not taking anything away from the victory (not much of a victory as this was a post Mosley Margarito who was cheating in prior fights with illegal wraps as we learned) but Pacquiao did not and could not knock Tony out.

 

he did carry margo during the last few rounds. this is where pac said his quote "boxing is not for killing each other" which incidentally was the first time he fought as a politician.

I believe Pac let up in the Margo fight. He saw Margarito's face was all bloodied and also their side didn't really wanna chance it.

Shane ran, Pac didn't really carry him. He also had a lot of respect for Shane's power.

 

Did he carry Mosley? I think that to an extent he did. At the same time, I don't know, he was fighting more like a caveman in that fight than any other, so I don't think any combo would have sent Mosley down. I'm sure he could have upped the volume and stopped him on accumulation.

Margarito? Def not. No way in hell he carried Margarito running away from him and unloading whenever he could, damaging Antonio's face. However, in round 11 there is a moment when Pac initiates a clinch and quite clearly is saying something in Margarito's ear before the ref separates them. I do think that was a mutual, "you no hit me body, I no hit you face hard."

 

Pac and his camp have so many excuses. Leg cramps, carried the opponent, wrong socks, wrong gloves, blood test weakened him, afraid of needles, etc.

 

Floyd will get Pac out of there in no more than 8 rounds..it's a very easy fight for Floyd...Floyd is patient and will wait for Pacquiao to accept 40 million..Manny will get tired of making a max of 20 million per fight and will want to cash out on 40-50 million before he retires.

Floyd will put a Gatti "type" clinic on Manny. Manny has short arms and a very weak defense..He opens himself up to much and this is where Floyd will hit him with hard shots that sting em.

Cotto and Mosley are harder style fights for Floyd than Pacquiao. Pacquiao is also weak to the body and this may be his downfall in the 7th or 8th round.

 

i don't know about that. pac did say, when they were about to fight 3 years ago, that he would punish jr. for sr. accusing him of ped use.
