Malnourished teenage pro boxers don't have the strength nor the experience to carry anybody. Pac is that special, a malnourished teenage pro boxer who was able to win a world title belt. :deal
It's no worse than Floyd claiming he beat Oscar with his C-game or using the excuse about his shoulder when he loss to Jose Luis Castillo in the first fight. So basically he's trying to say he wasn't at his best because he had a tough fight with him. I notice that about you and all his other fans that everytime he says something or doesn't deliver likes he's suppose to do, you guys let it go and act like nothing ever happened. It's the same as him claiming Cotto is really undefeated.
I don't think Roach said this. If he did he is wrong to say it. He is almost saying Margarito and Mosley were washed up fighters.
JMM has proven time and again that he's just that good. Pac doesn't run him over because JMM is an extremely talented and technical fighter and he's on Pac's level. What's the problem with people acknowledging that?
they know people will buy their fights no matter what. pac could fight de la hoya again and people will watch
Nah, he didn't carry either. Margarito wasn't getting stopped that night. He certainly didn't carry Mosley, why offer excuses afterwards if he carried him... Nah.
I agree that JMM is a great technical fighter but I beg to differ he is on Pac's level. I don't think JMM can do what PAC has done against his previous opponents. It's just that PAC's weakness are counter punchers who counter punch in combinations not pot shotting. :good
He definitely carried Margarito. Watch the last 2 rounds. But...he didn't carry Mosley. He started pushing for the KO late in the fight but it was too late and add to that Mosley was trying to survive like his life depended on it.
Styles make fights brother whether we like it or not. Even if they fight a gazillion times the outcome will still be the same, Controversial. :good
H2H they;re on par. But come back at me when JMM smokes established welters the way Pac has. Therein lies the difference in greatness.
