Roach says "I now hear that Manny wants to train in the Philippines, I think its a mistake. I think there are too many distractions for him there.

This is the toughest fight of his life, Cotto is a big 147-pounder strong guy he beat Shane Mosley a speed guy like Manny he nullified Shane's speed with his own speed.

People tell me that Cotto is slow but i disagree says Roach I hope that Manny and his crew wake up and smell the coffee We need to get to work and start training as soon as possible.

Pretty much every fight I hear all these stories about how Manny is supposedly distracted then he shows up in great shape and beats the **** out of his opponent. I have no doubt that Manny is 100% focused and will come to the fight mentally and physically ready.

Roach seems pretty worried with all the distraction's Manny is involved in at the moment and i cant blame him.

I agree Roach could be trying to send a false sense of security to Cotto and MC better not play into it.

Roach says this type of **** before just about every fight. Pacquiao has a whole nation counting on him. He is not going come into this fight at anything less than 100%.

He did for Morales and Marquez, but I think the Morales loss he really does has a reason why he wasnt focused I was at wild card during both of these fights, there were issues with Murad, in fact that man had people there watching Manny close, becuase Murad knew his contract was comming to an end he knew Roach was going to expose him as a con man and did so.

The marquez Draw, Manny was busy signing autographs taking pictures etc... Manny wasnt 100% there neither no excuse when your a pro you must act like one.

I think he has learned from that and its shown ever since.

True - but I think the distractions are amplified right now. Since the negotiations started, he had 3 movies to film, an album to cut, commercials to film, political office preparations; and if he trains in the Philipines, non stop distractions will continue.

Cotto is focused & Manny is not.
As of today, That is Roach's concern.

    That & Pac don't give a ****, & play's by his own rules.
(Don't mean he don't bust ass when he has to, Just on his terms)

I have NO idea who will win this fight..can't decide, but I do know this...as much of a badass as Cotto is, I would never again underestimate Manny Pacquiao in ANY fight he's in. Roach is just being the responsible, great trainer that he is in voicing his concerns, but I'm sure Pac will be totally focused and ready for this fight when it happens..the fight will be won or lost by either man being at their very best, and not through any lapse in focus or anything like that.
