Oscar was unable to fight back in the end, but even when he was fresh Manny was beating him to the punch and out manouvering him at will (rnds 1 & 2). Also, a lot of DLH's 'corpseness' was brought about by Manny's perfect footwok, circling away, never being in a position to be hit. Oscar didn't throw because Manny wasn't there as a target. It was a a majestic exhibbition of hit and not get hit - something we didn't know 'the brawler' had in him. If nothing else, it shows that Manny is adaptable, he can fight like Zab Judah or Brawl like Chavez. The kid has some untapped talent and i'd wager that he'll be more problematic for Mayweather than Ricky Hatton was.

The Oscar that Floyd fought at 154 was COMPLETELY different from the embarassment that `fought` Manny at 147.

Lucky for JMM that he never fought Mayweather, he would get sliced up like I believe Pac-man is going to aswell.

I would hope they fight at a catchweight of 143-44, simply for the fact that it would be a mockery for them to fight at 147 with guys like Margarito, Williams, Cotto, and Clottey out and there and available.

Faster, probably. Hits harder, no way. Floyd will flatten the little guy.

I think Floyd is the real deal and Oscar was not. Floyd reached the top level and seemed to keep winning, where Oscar did not. Much different fight.

Pac won't be caught against the ropes. That was the game plan of Roach in dela Hoya fight.

i have to agree. even if mayweather is naturally bigger than him, pac does hit harder and is faster than pbf as well as having that warrior heart. but mayweather definitely has better technical skills, much better D and ring generalship than pac. it will be a close, good fight.

@selfkill, don't be too hasty... remember the "*******s" here who predicted a KO victory for pac vs. dlh before that fight. this is boxing after all and anything can happen especially as i have realized when it involves pac. pac has time and again proven he can do the unthinkable just like in the sasakul, ledwaba, barrera 1, morales 2 and dlh fights.
