What is the difference between 143, 144, and 147? Everyone has to either come down in weight, or be close to retired for PAc to fight them nowadays lol...

Please make this fight Floyd. I remember these same fans talking about how Pav would kill Hop lol. They forgot Hop had skills lol. Pac will be fighting the most skilled fighter he ever looked at. I'm glad Roach is confident. Roach figures, I made big money with PAc fighting Dlh...so if my man loses to Floyd, we can use the size excuse. I'd talk too.

Alright...I'd rather not parse words and compete in a game of samantics...but your point...which you did state more clearly and concise in the post above still underlines a fundemental difference in how you decipher the variables and strategic tactics a fighter much make when in the ring. In layman's terms. Yes when you get in the ring with a more powerful fighter you dont try to out power him... When your in with a better boxer you dont want to stay on the outside and box him...you want to pressure him, trap him and unload... If have a reach advantage then you want to keep you opponent on the outside. I could go on but I think you get the point. Those are the most simple variables I could think of...of course in a fight fight they work in combination with each other so the best strategy to overcome that scenario varies as well and will be more complex...

I said all of that to say...That I dont see Pac as being anything different...of course he was in with a slower fighter who's bread and butter was a left hook which is nearly useless against a faster southpaw. DLH was suppose to be the stronger fighter so there was no doubt in my mind we would see a more evasive counter punching Manny... I honestly didnt think he would pull it off as well as he did but he did...I also thought DLH would come in heavier and bully Pac but he didnt...it's like he tried to match speed...

After you reiterated your perception...I agree with 90 percent of what your saying but I still think that Mayweather is a completely different animal...and that's why I think the "New Manny" will get picked apart by Floyd because he wont benefit from those advantages he shared against DLH...which made Manny look so great...

As far as your assessment being more sophisticated than my "you never know what's going to happen"... Well you can put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig. In fact you can chop a pigs ass off, throw it on an grill with some cinnamon, sugar and pinapples on top of it and call it a "honey glazed ham", but the reality of the matter is that your still eating a pigs ass...no matter which you splice it...

IF floyd will try to outprice, I don't see Roach being bothered to even a 20% purse. He already has 1 mega fight and 1 coming up(Hatton). Roach knows that taking Mayweather will cement both Roach and Pacquiao legacy.

Pac really aint even faster. His speed is on the samer level, but not above. & as far as power goes, that was just a dumb statement. But Judah was as fast & more powerful than Floyd, & well, you seen what happened to him.

Cmon guys this fight will be amazing and in terms of preparation and on the night tactics, could be the most cerebal but exciting fight we have seen in years with both guys having amazing knowledge in their respective corners

Either fighter has the talent to win, it's who has the better gameplan, who is better prepared and who executes better on the night

I cannot wait for this fight to be announced

Yep. If people think Mayweather having to deal with someone who's fast and/or powerful is some sort of deal breaker they're stoned. On crack.

Like you I'll opt out of a semantic argument, since it seems we agree with each other on most things, except PAcC's chances Vrs Floyd. On that issue, I am perfectly cognizant that Floyd is a superior to the pathetic, waste of DNA that was DLH the other weekend, however, he will certainly have to be, because DLH got his ass kicked. :D

    Mayweather faster.
    Mayweather bigger.
    Mayweather hits harder.
Mayweather is technically superior by far.
Mayweather by KO inside of 5.
A 145 lb. Oscar made Pac look good.

i am a pac fan but skills and age wise, pbf is way too dangerous for manny. a bit too slick perhaps, me thinks that this will go the first pac morales fight.

i just hope that if ever pac pulls out an upset, haters here will not start to shout that mayweather was shot at what, 32 years old.

but really, this fight has to happen after pac hatton fight. win or lose, pac will always be a great fighter. and if these fights do happen, pac haters here should line themselves up and shoot themselves.

jmm, diaz, odlh, hatton, and then mayweather. and you call that cherrypicking?
