...this has implications for the p4p No.1 ranking, if Ricky beats Manny.:deal

(and if Roach is just playing mindgames when he says this, too bad - if Hatton beats Pacquiao, given that Roach is on the record that Pacquiao's best weight is 140 lbs, BY FAR right now, Pacquiao can no longer be p4p No.1.)

(...I insisted that Pacquiao would remain p4p No.1 if he lost to Ricky whilst performing as well as usual, because I assumed that Pacquiao's best weight was 135 lbs, right now, not 140 lbs, but this statement from Roach made me change my mind. It also makes me stop thinking less of Ricky for going on and on about the p4p title changing hands if he won.):bart

The trainer of a boxer pre-fight won't have any affect on my pound for pound rankings after the fact.

You need to change your avatar, McG.:bart

    I suggest this one:

You also need to be a bit less pleased with your analysis of the Froch v. Taylor fight, I think.;):p

I agree with Roach, Pacquiao does look like a legit 140lbs.
(Both body wise & speed on tape, He looks very comfortable)

We will have to wait until sat. to see him in there with the best 140lbs has to offer.
(Fight is a toss up IMO. Can't wait, Can't decide for sure... I like them both =)

If Pacquiao beats Ricky, he is gunning for true immortality.

Roach doesn't want any fight for Manny at 147. Tells you what he thought of Oscar, doesn't it?

Can't deny that, But I do agree with Roach 140lbs should be the limit.

IF he beats Ricky, he can get something done at 147 and he should try. That would be....incredible.

If Manny can pull off a victory over Hatton he will be able to call all shot's.... fighter's will be lined up to make 140lbs.

I watched the video, but just like I wouldn't hold Roach to what he says in a pre-fight interview should he lose, I wouldn' hold Pacquiao to what Roach says if he wins ;)
