From a personal point of view, Marquez is one of my very favourits.

From an historial point of view, I don't want Pacquiao bursting into the upper echolon of the pound for pound lists (all time) with unfinished Marquez business at his behind.

I think that fight needs to happen. I also think that at 140 the fight favourts Pac.

this falls along the same lines as Nacho saying that Oscar was in top shape at 147lbs. Just cause a trainer says something doesn't make it so

The proof will be in the pudding. If Pacquiao loses, he will stay at 140 lbs for his next fight if 140 lbs is NOT in fact his best weight. If he goes down to 135 lbs, then Roach was just bs-ing. If Pacquiao wins, it will be harder to know whether it was his best weight or not, because he might decide to stay at his second best weight because that's where the big money is/that's where he'd have a bigger advantage over e.g. Marquez, say.

reports are now that Pacquiao has already made the weight, almost 1 week prior to the fight, without any dieting.

Nope.. Roger mayweather came in later...

It was Floyd Sr who trained him from the time he was a baby..

Floyd Jr is obviously the work of Floyd Sr, not roger..
