Roach keeps on saying Floyd needs PAc lol... Floyd does not need PAc at all lol... Floyd can go on and fight other guys...who can Pac fight that makes him big money...Shane? Floyd-Pac won't be a fight anyway. I hope PAc beats Cotto so that PAc's fans are either convinced or given hope that PAc can beat Floyd. PAc's fans will talk right up until Floyd knocks PAc out.

Floyd fought a still good Dlh, and PAc fought a washed up Dlh. Same with Hatton. Floyd chipped Hatton up first, and PAc finished the job. Floyd has the beter record than Pac, fought the better overall comp, and Floyd has not even been put down in a fight but rather went down himself from pain in is hand. PAc's been flattened twice by body and a chin shot. Pac's taken 10 counts, and Floyd has not come close to taking a count of 1 lol.

This fight will have to be 50/50 or the promoters will have to pay someone out of their own pocket to make someone happy ie 50/52. I cannot see neither guy settling for any less, and they shouldnt...both are ATG's and current superstars of boxing.

 

the ONLY reason why mr. shakey roach is talking crap about mayweather's dominating performance is because he's afraid mayweather will do the same to his catfish fighter, pacquiao! there is no other reason why he would talk the smack he does. mark my words, mayweather and pacquiao will never happen because arum and mr. shakey won't let their fighter near the same area code to mayweather. roach sometimes reminds me of a little toy poodle barking and sounding like a pitbull.

 

PBF will demand a 60/40 split and rightfully so he's done better numbers with common opponents. Like it or not he's the face of boxing now.

 

Pacquiao and Roach don't want this fight. All signs and language points to this. They know Floyd deserves at the very least a 60/40 split, he's statistically the greatest PPV draw ever, yes, ever. They know he can't beat Floyd.

 

Pacquiao has NO options apart from Floyd. Cotto he's fighting so he's off the list, the other's aren't options. Campbell lost to Bradley, who himself isn't a big draw or big name yet, you can't even definatively say he's #1 at 140 yet let alone among the best in boxing.

Diaz lost to Marquez, JMM himself is off the list after getting out-classed by Mayweather. Maidana isn't a name, neither is Alexander at this point. Khan wouldn't be risked, that would draw over here but not elsewhere. Peterson isn't an option eiter. Sorry, but some of those options are laughable.

Equally, Spinks, Quintana and Margarito aren't realistic options for Floyd, Cotto won't be if he loses to Pac, if he wins that's another option though. Clottey probably isn't an option, Berto might be, Mosley & Williams certainly are. Pacquiao needs Mayweather far more than Floyd needs him.

 

If Pacquiao wins impressively against Cotto Mayweather will do one of 2 things, either avoid Pac like a dose of crabs & claim he doesn't need him, or demand a bigger cut of the purses knowing that Pacs people won't accept it.

 

floyd doesnt sell alot of ppvs! Of course he draws some attention... But alot of mexicans ordered the ppv to watch Marquez! FLoyd is not exciting to watch... I would never pay to watch floyd.. hes boring as hell!! Id pay to see pac.. cotto.. JMM.. margarito.. mosley... guys like that....
