Agreed, but Roach spins that to make it look like Garcia is more of a threat to Pacquiao than Khan.

Garcia is a good enough fighter, but if we're real, he does alot of things well and does nothing great.
He's not particularly fast, good power but not concussive, and he's not an upper echelon boxer.
Garcia would lose to most greats not chinny, where as Khan because of his physical attributes would beat some greats simply because of those physical advantages.

Khan no doubt is a bigger threat to both Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Algieri is proven to get hit way to much for a fighter of his style. Lead footed Provodnikov hurt him as much as Pacquiao did.
    Algieri's defense is proven poor!

If the fight is anything like their sparring, Khan gets ktfo inside 3 rounds. Pac caught him with hard flush shots in that sparring vid, takeaway that 16oz gloves and the headgear + intent to ktfo and good night. Khan may win a few rounds but no way in hell he lasts 12 rounds.

 Boxing does'nt work that way.
If Khan were to face up and go at it like he did against Danny Garcia, yes Pacquiao would obliterate him.

Khan is'nt a dummy however. Having trained with Pacquiao, he knows all to well what his weaknesses are, so you would'nt see Khan face up to trade with Pacquiao.

In Evander Holyfield's early Heavyweight title reign, he faced Bert Cooper, a former cruiserweight champion with the body build of Mike Tyson and the power to go with it.
Cooper being a former cruiserweight, Evander faced up and went at it toe to toe, got careless and Cooper landed a perfect shot to the temple that just about almost stopped Holyfield that night.
After that Cooper fight, the consensus opinion was that if Cooper could hurt Holyfield that badly, Tyson would put him in a pine box.

Well guess what??? A fighter does'nt approach Mike Tyson the way he would Bert Cooper. Getting careless against a dangerous puncher like Mike Tyson is less likely than a fighter like Bert Cooper wish Holyfield had little respect for.

Thats how boxing works. You dont respect a puncher like Cooper, and you may pay for it dearly.
Khan does'nt respect a capable puncher like Garcia, with his chin he wound up paying for it dearly.

My point is that the approach is different with a fighter you have ultimate respect for. Thats why so many fighters fight up to the caliber of opposition.

If you actually watch that same interview he also says he has no part in the negotiations and rarely talks to Pac.

Negotiation and opponent selection are different. But I haven't seen the interview, just read the excerpts from it.

No I think Khan will get exposed again soon enough. Roach just doesn't want to give him a big pay day after the back stabbing he did.

Roach did'nt want to give Marquez a payday because of Marquez' talking, "I beat Pacquiao twice!"

DLH did the same to Vargas.

Funny how all of a sudden they're willing to grant such paydays when they feel they're vulnerable enough.

It's been established that Khan is mentally re****ed.
