LOL at the people who says Hatton would beat Pacman. That's too funny. Hatton would beat Pacman at grappling and that's it. Hatton would run into Pac's shots just like he ran into Mayweather's. I'd bet all my money on Pacman beating Hatton. Hatton is a wrestler... he had his opportunity to make a name for himself only to get knocked into the aprin. And then he has the nerve to blame Cortez for not letting him "wrestle" all night or as Hatton says... fight his fight. Pacman would cruise to an easy UD over Hatton.

    Yes it is.
You said it there is plenty of great fights in his weight class but he is doing the Hatton thing in where he takes on an impossible challenge to make alot of money(PBF) so when he loses people wont discredit him as much. Hatton and Pac are exactly alike.
Why fight Diaz also??? This one just tells you Pac wants no part of JMM again. There is no way this makes more money than the JMM rematch. I doubt it even hits 200,000 ppvs.

Duran had tons of boxing skill that allowed him to move up in weight and compete with the big names .. Pac only has a punch , which will only get weaker as he moves up in weight .

I like Hatton, and can understand him fighting Luzcano as a tune up of some sorts to get back some confidence after being knocked out.

But if he wins this fight, if he doesn't fight Witter within 2 more fights then I lose all respect for him ( i'll let him off if he takes on Malignaggi first for the other belt, even tho I rate Witter more than Malignaggi )

Witter has got to the top the hard way, he isn't a big name and has found it hard to make fights but he stuck at it and got the WBC belt, he deserves his shot at Hatton and Hatton owes it to boxing fans to take the fight.

Like Scurla said, Haye took the Enzo fight because the public wanted it so put back his move to heavyweight, he wanted to leave cruiser with everyone in no doubt he was THE MAN at that weight.

Hatton needs to do the same.

He can wait another year for the big money pantomime fights with Pac or ODH

WEll said about Haye. Hatton knows he cant win so thats why he is doing it. Ever since the Collazo fight Hatton has been exposed and he knows it himself. Thats why he is only taking minimum risk high reward type of fights. So he is not discredited.

Pac no Skills??? How come he beat JMM by Decision???

Pac Has an extraordinary Punch, He's bringing it up at Lightweight. Pac will be stronger at 135 than his last fight with JMM coz he doesn't have to Drain much. Pac already said while he is in training & not Dieting he weighs 146 lbs. It means that Pac will not lose speed & Stamina either. He can come in at 144-146 for the 135 & 140 fights he have in the future. That's the same fight night weight since the Pac-EM3. The only difference is he will be eating right & that's extra nutrients will turn into more Power & stamina.
