HEY Rudyard, do you still think Clottey can beat Cotto if they fight again?

I think the same.....but Cotto definitly won the 1st fight with how he conducted himself over the way Josh conducted himself. Josh was complaining far too much and expecting too much help from the ref. But it was still very close....I actually felt Josh would win, but Cotto IMHO pulled it out.

I think Cotto beats him even more decisively in the rematch. Before Cotto got cut he was starting to take over Clottey little by little, that's how it looked to me.

I think Josh would win in a rematch...I'm assuming he would be a little more active...He did a good job with those uppercuts to keep Cotto guessing...Clottey did go a little over board with the antics but I dont blame him one bit...Cotto did get a little dirty IMO.

    A rematch is warranted...No doubt about it!:good

Thanks but not thanks...I dont need a drill I have boxing experience...its funny how simplify positions in terms of only have the lead foot inside. True that must happing but there are so many other variables that its pointless to make that the only factor. Try this...have you ever notice how much Manny squares up when coming in? He nearly brings his left foot up even with his right right stepping in punching range to unload his 1-2... It working with Oscar because Oscar's feet were so slow... Floyd is a different fighter with faster feet and hands.

I had the Clottey-Cotto fight 7-5 for Cotto..I think he did what he had to do in the 12th..

THE FUNNY THING THOUGH IS THAT I REMEMBER A BUNCH OF PEOPLE SAYING COTTO WAS GONNA EASILY BEAT CLOTTEY....THE WHOLE TIME I SAID THE FIGHT WOULD BE VERY COMPETITIVE AND THAT CLOTTEY WASN'T A B LEVEL FIGHTER BUT AN A LEVEL FIGHTER JUSS LIKE COTTO....

IF A REMATCH HAPPENED I THINK IT WOULD TURN OUT ANOTHER COMPETITIVE FIGHT THAT COULD GO EITHER WAY...THESE 2 TALENT LEVELS ARE AROUND THE SAME WHICH MAKES IT THAT COMPETITIVE

WASSUP WIT YA RUDYARD!!! WHATS BEEN GOIN ON?? I KNOW YOU BEEN WATCHIN THESE GOOD FIGHTS IN THE LAST 6 WEEKS!!!:thumbsup

I remember that...You cant confuse the Cotto stans with the Cotto fans...I do remember certain posters ( I want say any names:-() saying that Cotto would have a easy night with Clottey...Now they cant say **** but give Clottey his due...Clottey is no walk in the park for anybody, and I would favor him to win in a rematch only if he could step up his pace.

I've been good my man...Enjoying these good fights and watching football!:happy What about you...Everything alright with ya?

Hell yea I juss been lookin forward to these fights man! Got my chick involved in boxing so she like Cotto..Yea, I think most of the Cotto fans got a little ahead of themselves with thinking he would have an easy night with Clottey and if they fought again I wouldnt be surprised if Clottey took it and they fought a rubbermatch...but Cotto has made me a fan with how he has fought latley...I think he is the 1 fighter who could give Floyd some trouble for a minute.....:good

No doubt about it...Cotto presents Floyd some problems but I think Floyd will solve the puzzle and eventually start finding his mark...One things for sure Cotto will push the best out of Mayweather...thats for sure.

You also have to admit that the cut Cotto sustained contributed to the right hands and clottey was hitting him with cause he couldn't see. If you take that freak accident away, the fight might have not been as competitive from the way it was looking early on.
