Freddie Roach comments on a potential Chavez Jr and Martinez fight.

“I would love to see him fight the Argentinean soon.

. He did was he was supposed to do at the end but I don’t think he looked good up to that point. Hopefully the fight will happen soon” said Roach.

“Martinez is getting a little bigger audience each time he fights. He’s a very good athlete. I don’t think he’s a great, great boxer but he’s a very good athlete. He has power and has a quick left hand but I think Chavez would be too strong for him”.

So Freddie if Martinez was exposed against Macklin, what do you call what happened to Pac last november when he fought against a blown up grandpa Marquez? :think

Like Manny was by Marquez? 3 times?

At least Sergio knocked him out.

I remember Hatton was exposing Pacquoao in the 2nd round of their fight, I mean he eventually KO'd him but in the 20 second spell leading up to the KO I was not impressed.

I don't really care on what he says.
He said Canelo wont get a catchweight fight with Chavez. If Canelo wants the middleweight belt then he will have to go to 160 and take it.

It annoys the hell out of me that the journalists we have in boxing are rubbish.....I mean seriously Roach who do you think you're kidding, if Sergio was exsposed what was Pac vs JMM, or Khan vs Petereson or Chavez vs Zbik?

Get your house in order before you start throwing stones!

    :patsch

I use to love Roach he's a great trainer but he needs to stfu already. And if Macklin exposed Martinez I guess that's why now they'll fight him. And if Chavez wins he deserves no credit I mean after all Macklin exposed this bum already.

Exposed isn't necessarily a bad thing, so yes I agree.

He was exposed to a wider range of fans.

Manny, Khan, Linares and JCC Jr. have been exposed. Freddie isn't as good as a trainer people make him out to be.

  9. I'm sure he can back it up with an explanation but damn roach can be infuriating with some comments.

    It seems like you care.
We are expressing our opinions and you tell us to stfu, because you don't like what we think and what we got to say ? Then why the **** can you say what you want if we cant say what we want ?
    Hypocrite ?

Fact is that Roach constantly contradicts himself, same way other people do.
And this thread is about Roach, not Pacquiao. Sticking feathers up your butt doesn't make you a chicken and talking smack about Roach doesn't make you a *****.

I don't understand how a fighter who succeeds almost every time to K.O / T.K.O his opponents ( top opponents ) is exposed ?!:D :think

Martinez looked bad because he did not prepare for that type of fight. However, he adjusted and got the KO--while Chavez Jr. was not able to hurt the glass jawed Rubio. It looks as if Roach is officially part of the hype machine now and his words should be taken as such.
