He talks about: How tough the Margarito fight was. Manny endured a lot of punishment from those body shots was really feeling the pain. But his heart and will never let it show, and his natural instinct was to fight back. Manny improving as a fighter. People often focus too much on his speed and athleticism, but don't notice his ring intelligence. Ever since the Diaz fight, Manny has begun taking the time to study tapes of his opponents. Prior to that he used to just watch 30 seconds, get bored and walk away. Margarito took more punishment than he should have. The corner should have stopped it. In the last 3/4 rounds Margarito was just arm-punching and had nothing left in him. He himself would have stopped it by the 9th round, but Margarito had a young corner that wanted to prove something. They proved he is tough, yes, but they've just ruined his career. Pre-fight chaos - effedrin. They brough that stuff with them for a reason. It didn't fall into their bag by accident. The only thing they're allowed to bring is wated and sealed Gatorade. He's interested in knowing what the results of the test are. The commisioners overseeing things in the dressing room should be more vigilant. They need to be better trained. A tough last week of training camp. Manny peaked later than usual. He probably did too much too close to the fight, and ended up being fatigued in the fight. Manny could have been in better condition had he not been distracted by other things. Next time they'll have him over to L.A as quick as possible. Manny's taking his new job more seriously than any other job/hobby. This will be a bigger threat than anything else. Floyd is the only guy Manny will 100% motivated for. Whether the fight is made, is up to Floyd. Briefly mentiones Khan and Chavez Jr, and their upcoming fights. Says the Khan/Maidana could be a FOTY. A good interview.
That was a pretty good interview, thanks for sharing:good The part about Pac only recently looking at footage (of opponents) in great depth makes sense. What I have noticed most about his recent form is he never allows an opponent to set before they attack, he takes that away.
Everyone hates Roach for every pre-fight interview Everyone loves Roach for every post-fight interview
Well, Pac important fight is probably not in the ring. But the fight for peace between muslim rebels and Philarmy down south in Mindanao. The WAR has been raging on for 100 of years.Unity and peace is a distant dream.Good boxerers down there too.No more violence there is the most glorious victory for Pac than anything in the ring IMO.
