Don King tried doing this kind of thing a bunch of times, and the business fact is that having a second big fight on a PPV doesn't increase the sales enough to warrant the extra expense of paying all those big name fighters. That's why the undercard always sucks when the main event is huge - they're just trying to fill time and showcase their fighters to justify charging people that much for the main event.

 

Is Uncle Bob the greediest jerk promoter out there today, or what? He screws up everyone on his roster that has talent. Cotto, Pavlik, and now he's looking to screw Pac-Man. Uncle Bob should stick to using name recognition-only fighters like Chavez Jr. with Tye Fields on the undercard for garbage PPVs and leave real fights and fighters to better promoters than him. He's bound to ruin Juan Manuel Lopez's career given his track record.

Roach talks alot but it seems that only some things get any play on this site..For instance, no one talks about the fact that Roach said "If I thought that Oscar could still pull the trigger I would have never let Manny take the fight" Or "If Oscar comes in a hair over 145 we will pull out of the fight"

Roach is being smart with Pac, and talk about handpicking guys..

 

So because Mayweather is boring according to you...

You hate on him for fighting Marquez because of the size.. yet you want to see Cotto-Pac where the size difference is even bigger.
