A trainer is normally over-protective of his fighter, good thing the promoter, the manager and the actual fighter is the one deciding who to fight, the trainer is out of the selection process. Roach isn't like the JMM/Nacho setup where Nacho is a manager and trainer - though Roach has a bit of influence on a consultant level.

Roach didn't say solely that Mosley is too good a figther, he said Mosley is too good a fighter "AND THERE ISN'T ENOUGH MONEY". Meaning, the risk/money ratio.

An example of this is: Cotto and Mosley high on risk level - say Cotto being slightly higher risk, but money on Cotto is better. For this example it makes better business sense to drop Mosley and pick the better one - though they're both good a fighter.

Reading that article just reminds me that journalism is dead.......

When Roach commented on that article that drawing blood from Pac 14 days out from the fight would put Manny out of commision for vital sparring in days 14, 13, and 12......why the hell did'nt the baffoon of a LA Times writer ask Roach, "why were you quoted weeks ago with being fine with testing 5 days out????

Journallist these days are just not doing their job, and or they are being manipulated by clowns like Roach and being told, "If you ask me this question, I'm throwing you out of my Gym permanently......

......and if the latter is the case, it the journalists job to report such a thing happening as to expose Roach for the manipulator he is.......

A journalist who had a degree in chemistry recently did this with Roach, he asked him tough questions, embarrassed Roach, and that journalist was tossed from the Gym.
.......that particular thread is floating around here at ESB!:deal

isnt that the same thing mayweather gets scrutinized for using the risk reward ratio for example the baldomir fight he made 12 mill for instead of fighting margo for 8 mill, but mayweather is a cherry picker and pac is just using the risk reward ratio, STOP BEING A PAC FAN BOY AND REALIZE IF MAYWEATHER IS A CHERRY PICKER PAC IS ACTUALLY EVEN MORE OF A CHERRY PICKER
