The media makes it appear that way. But what has not been featured is his multiple grocery stores, multi-million houses and real-estate property, a billion-peso investment in Gensan economic zone, and others. What an ordinary boxing fan doesn't know is Manny gets so much money from commercials and endorsements that he could afford to retire from boxing.

Oh and i think Junky is the one managing the money. Just goes to show that boxers should choose their wives carefully. Unforturnately for most, all they got are gold diggers.

If he loses, regardless of how he loses one sided or not, I'm sure a rematch will be signed. If he wins then he SHOULD retire, it makes no sense to continue. He made a lot of money, made history, the greatest fighter of this generation, opened the doors for Filipino sportsmen and made his people/countrymen proud for eternity what more is left?, he could have retired after DLH anyway. Adding Cotto, Hatton and Mayweather is insane, I already have him top 10 or 5 ATG.

    true.

people think pac is dumb, he did not get formal education but he is one smart ass fella.

you don't see him throwing wads of cash like pbf. he gives a lot to the poor and gambles on the side also.

but i think he is prudent enough. he has learned from navarette who lived in the same city as him.

gambling and women, if not controlled are vices which will lead to ones downfall.

pac has so many commercials and with the good will he has generated will generate more commercials for years to come.

Roach stayed too long, Manny will too. It's the nature of the sport.

Once he beats PBF there is JMM. Then there is Valero. Maybe Soto. There's always one more fight on the horizon.

exactly. i remember back when people were talking about him fighting cotto or mayweather or cotto and then mayweather like it was a complete joke. like it would never, ever happen. if this guy winds up upsetting mayweather he's going to have one of the most unreal careers in the history of the sport. just the fact that he's done enough to earn a fight with floyd is straight unbelievable.

You don't beat Cotto and Mayweather then go fight ****ing VELERO and SOTO. :patsch

He should have two or three fights with PBF and call it a career.

why would he move back down and take easy victories like those when he could move up and fight a guy like yuri foreman and win another title in another weight class? he could take out a guy like foreman arguably easier than valero or soto. that would just be insane. 8 division champion.

Why are you acting like every fighter in the world doesn't do exactly that? Outside of Marciano and Lewis, that is...

He was throwing in calories like there was no tomorrow just to get to 145. I don't think he CAN get any heavier.

What if May wins. Should Mayweather retire in your opinion or what should be next for him?
