I think there may be an element of wise business sense to this, if Pac has declared he will only have one more fight then that puts the onus on Mayweather to take it - he won't get the opportunity to have a fight this big again in his career. So this returns more of the leverage back to Pac after Floyd had talked of fighting other people in order to make it seem like he didn't want the Pac fight.
There wont be any pressure on Floyd @ all because if Manny doesnt fight Floyd he's not gonna make as much money either and team Mayweather know these things.
I'm surrounded with filipinos at work and in my social life! They often give me insights about Pac that's not always getting published in the US media He is a billionaire in his country, BILLIONAIRE!!! and have investments everywhere. I don't think he is ever going to go hungry again if he stops boxing tomorrow! And he is not addicted to gambling like some people are suggesting. He goes to the casino once in a while, I probably would too if I had that shitloads of money! The only problem his fellow filipinos can see with manny after retirement is his generosity to the point that he is being abused and his inability to say NO to people! This is where he can be exploited.
I don't blame him if he retires after the "Pound for Pound" fight, but I would love to see him unify the Jr WW and WW first or fight Mosley and then finish it off with a third fight with JMM. It may take two more years, but that would be something very special. However, it's his life so he has to do what he has to do.
