That's the word on the streets. Question? What does everyone think of the partnership between Roach and Hatton. Personally I think they would mesh very well. I don't buy Hatton is "Shot"...nor do I buy the bull**** that is Hatton's "Punch resistance" is up in smoke!lol: Bottom line is Hatton is a brawler...he's raw and rugid, but the man is proven. He's no ATG but he was the best Jr WW for quite some time and that says a lot. What I believe Roach can do is highlight & emphisize his what hatton does well which is go to the body and work at a high rate every min of every round. Also, polish some of his rawness and implement strategy that works coheisively with his fighting style. Don't change him completely, but work with what he has and tighten up the loose ends in his game. Thoughts?
It wont work, Hattong might want to learn new tricks and change his style, but coming fight night everything will go down the drain, hes just not ring smart, as soon as he hears that bell, it will me the good ol head fisrt Ricky Hatton
Roach is stupid if he agrees to train Hatton, it's that simple. Hatton seemed to make a good move hiring Floyd Sr and look how that worked out. Graham, Floyd Sr, Roach - in Hatton's case it's irrelevant, Ricky always knows best.
That's what I'm saying....Roach won't try to change Rick...just highlight what he already does well and polish him up a bit. He's not going to try and re-invent the wheel with Rick just make some teaks and enhancements. Ricky already has the foundation necessary to build upon. My question is if Roach is the right trainer for a Ricky Hatton?
Its not true, lets just wait until Ricky makes an announcement about his future before jumping on false rumours
I DONT KNOW WHAT FOR HATTON DAYS OF PPV. are over he was just lucky agains't KOSTA.I WOULD NOT WATCH HIM ON ESPN...............
