**** what are you guys whining about roach feels manny can beat oscar and after that showing against former 130 lb champ stevie forbes it is pretty feasible that he has a point. to argue over money when this would undoubtedly be his biggest payday is dumb. don't be surprised by this while manny has shown to be a genius in the ring he has made some pretty stupid business moves

    1. Forbes has a Margarito chin,

    2. Forbes has been fighting at higher weights for a long period of time and I remember him saying he was going down to 140, but here he is fighting Berto at 147.

    3. Oscar picked and fought Forbes due to some similarities to PBF so fighting a looping Pac would be easy pickings for a stoppage or a UD.

    4. Lastly, a good big guy is always going to beat a good little guy. Pac is not superman and he just beat the weakest LW champ.

The fireworks will start after the smoke is clear from the future mega LW fights. He will fight Soto and then wait for Hatton due to skipping the LW champs.

Manny just doesn't realize how good of a shot he has. I don't think Roach has bad intentions at all; if the fight meant so much to Manny in the first place he wouldn't watch it sail on by.. Manny has more doubts than wants about this fight. He would've taken the money otherwise.l

While I do think it's a little much for Roach to push Manny the Pacman has shown his own doubts. Of all people Mayweather didn't price himself out and took the same cut that was offered. They were both P4P at the time but Manny ain't got nothin but a name and has losses on his record. Manny should be fighting if the risk ain't that much of a factor.

Roach is beginning to become the annoying guy in the background a la Puffy when Biggie was still alive.

Freddie gets 10% of manny's fight purse everytime manny fights but in this one with oscar, he said he won't get a dime if manny loses. Roach knows something that we ordinary boxing fans don't know.

I think it could be something like the Gatti and Mayorga fights. Huge success early on and DLH just in his rhythm. The longer it goes the worse it gets for Pacman. Manny is quicker but the reach disadvantage will really hurt him and he'll get caught with a huge punch early. He cannot take many of those at all. DLH in 6.

izzy went with that conditioner first who fought with freddie over money. He went with another trainer and is doing great. Freddie is one of the best trainers today.

Over at F-News, it says that Roach is so sure that Manny will beat DLH, that he'll waive his fee if he loses to him.

In that article, Roach is'nt making much sense to me.....he says he's confindent enough of a Manny victory that he'll waive his fee if he loses, but then goes on to state that Manny will have to fight a perfect fight to beat Oscar.....:huh :think
......I'm wondering now if Roach will be on DLH's payroll!:-(

I believe Roach actually believes Manny can beat DLH.

I think the fight would be a lot closer than most are saying and i wouldn't be suprised if Manny won.

Anything over 150 then DLH wins but if the fight took place at 147, and if the wiegh in was on the same day, i think this would seriously effect DLH's already average stanima and would be the deciding factor in the fight.

If Pac didn't go charging in in the early rounds, stayed on the outside, darting in every now and then, staying away from DLH's early bombs as best he can then DLH would start to tire. As the fight progresses and DLH tires then he can move in more.

Not saying Manny would definatly win but i think it would be close.
