You never know.....but it would seem DLH would also be making a bit more with a higher profile type of opponent like PAC or Cotto or Marg.

LOL Consiracy therory?? You need to talk to Maestro. If this were true then the fight would come off and DLH would make the fight happen.....but DLH can't make the fight happen b/c Arum and Pac are not budging on the split. It's just two BIG Players in the game trying to win the fight at the negotiation table before the actual fight in the ring.

Roach is trying to get paid just like anyone else on this forum would.

Don't act like you're going to be giving Roach ten dollar handouts when he's staggering the streets delirious from Parkinson's. The man has to take care of himself because no one else will.

There's no country for old fighters.

...****...IF Roach wouldn't take a dime if Pac loses, that would be a sure sign that Oscar was paying him.

...the same guy who ditched all of his fighters with fights coming up, to go sub for Floyd Sr. and get that big payday, is suddenly now going to work for free...??? OK.

Roach is looking real suspect after saying that. Why does he want pacman to take the fight so bad? It looks like Roach is trying to sell out manny p.

If anything it proves what he truely believes, that Pac will beat ODLH. He didnt say he will work for free, he said he wont receive a dime if Pac looses.

You guys must have some crazy ideas in your heads if you honestly think Roach is taking his fighter there to loose to get some backhand cash from DLH

I already mentioned when he's sold out his fighters for Oscar in the past...

And I will mention that he had to ask Manny for permission first on that, and Manny was only fighting Jorge Solis. Who can actually get motivated for a fight like that.

There is a history there for sure.......as there is also a history of people in dealings with DLH, all of a sudden finding themselves as a partner....
    uh, uh...Bernard Hopkins.

I mentioned earlier, something is not adding up, when Roach says he's so confident of a Pac victory that he'll waive his fee if he loses.....but then in the same interview proclaims Pac would have to fight a perfect fight to win!:huh .....those two statement contradict themselves.
I'm smelling a rat on this one!

That was Izzy and Izzy spent more time with Fortune than Roach anyways. Manny seems to be Roach fav fighter and Roach had to ask Manny first if he is allowed to train Oscar, Manny said yes. Why would he betray Manny now? C'mon, this is more than just about money. Pac is pretty much Roach's legacy as a trainer, as Hearns was to Steward. I dont think he would sell him out now or risk his health.

...we're not the only people who think it doesn't look right, Roach making public statements against the direction Pac has instucted his team to take.

...and from the begining we heard that Oscar was sensitive about Roach's comments of Pac besting him...

...it just seems like Roach is a little more involved than your average trainer, every step of the way in this thing. If it's all because he cares for Manny, it's interesting that he has yet to echo his sentiments.
