Roach upset if Hatton survives 3 rounds...

    Controversial boxing coach Freddie Roach confidently predicted that Manny Pacquiao can knock out Ricky Hatton in three rounds when the two boxers trade punches on May 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
    “I told Manny that if it goes past three rounds, I’d be mad at him,” Roach said in an interview with Gabriel Montoya of MaxBoxing.com.
    Roach said if Hatton tries outwitting Pacquiao with his "boxing skills," it's very likely that the British champion will get himself into trouble.
    “If he tries to box Manny, he’ll get killed,” Roach warned Hatton, saying that the Briton’s trainer, Floyd Mayweather, Sr., cannot do much to help Hatton at this point.
    “He’s going to try and make him a better boxer but obviously it’s hard to make change someone at this late stage of their career,” noted Roach.
    He added, “I’ve been with Manny eight years and I’ve never tried to change him. Just improve on what we do. And so Ricky Hatton and Floyd are like black and white. Their styles are totally different. I think the best way for Ricky Hatton to fight this fight (is) to fight like he does.”
    “I mean, he can tell him some poems,” said Roach as a suggestion to Mayweather, Sr. “That’s all [Mayweather, Sr.] he's good at that I know of.”

    Also it looks like Paccy is getting plenty of practice taking body shots just like Ali did against Foreman.

    Wow...:yepFreddie got to be damn confident in Pac's abilities and does'nt think much of Hatton's ones by making such a statement...

    He's gonna get a whole lot more upset when Ricky knocked his arse out in 10.

    Roach is stupid, obviously Hatton isn't going to box Pacquiao. He knows what he's good at and so does Floyd, all they are doing together is getting Ricky to use his jab a bit more when working his way inside and improving his defence.

    I may be wrong, but I don't think he likes Mayweather Sr..:yep

    I didn't say it was, but he's a better boxer and more rounded than Hatton.

    Comon even if Pacquiao completely dominates Hatton from round 1, he doesn't hit hard enough to finish him inside 3.

    I actually think its a laughable prediction by Roach & I'm quite surprised he has even made such a bold prediction! However, guys, can you imagine if this were to actually be the outcome?

    Ridiculous really, but you never know, even more-so in Boxing!

    For what its worth, I for one do not think Hatton will be out of there within three, no way!

    I think that will be too early for a stoppage. Hatton is tough and should be able to last longer. I wont be surprise if he doesn't get KD but i think pac can stop him via delahoya fight. I just think the referee will stop the fight not the corner:good

    Maybe Roach will be right but I highly doubt it... this is a 50/50 fight IMO, I fancy Hatton myself if only just, anything can happen here, it really is a pick em, it would not suprise me if it were Pacquiao who got stopped.
