I wouldn't call Valero or Bradley interim fights....those are two dangerous fights for the Pacman...I would take a more fan appreciation fight against someone like Paulie malignaggi. There's no chance of Paulie seriously hurting the pac man and he gets to work on speed in preparation for Mayweather or JMM.

Dangerous yes but still a winnable fight for pacquiao. Paulie do have the speed but he already loss to hatton who pacman demolished in 2 rounds so fighting him wont make sense. Bradley who is rated#2 LWW is the best fight for pacquiao.

how about Devon Alexander #1 contender for WBC belt for Bradley's Vacant belt against Manny Pac?

I've never seen this Alexander guy. I'm just throwing possibilities out there. Not saying Alexander has a chance of landing this fight, but its possible.

didnt bradley pass on the fight to go after the wbu?
if so, this fight makes sense. if they cant make the
alexander fight they should go after berto.

I haven't seen much of him and his unknown to the public. At least bradley has made some noise lately by beating holt and witter so bradley i think is the best opponent for pac at 140.

yup. And we know that the WBC loves Manny Pacquiao. They would automatically pit him in a fight against their #1 contender.

I believe an Andre Berto guy is at 147. I'd give Manny steel balls for taking on Berto. That would be a fantastic matchup. He's young but who cares. If you don't want to fight Manny, you shouldn't be in boxing.

    That's a good one.

legacy man, legacy. try to scoop up another
belt in yet another division. plus, it would
    be a great fight!
not only to test the waters at 147 but to see how
manny responds to someone who is fast himself.
he's been so dominant lately because his opposition
has been painfully slow. berto can give him a
real challenge and if he can beat him, a belt.

yea and this is the fight he should take. Bradley is in his weight class, he's a champ and one of the best LWW in the world today. He already beat hatton and beating bradley would make him the best LWW in the world today without a doubt.

Like many are saying here, Bradley would be the best fight. First, he's the 2nd best LWW beside Hatton. Second, he's a champion and beating a champion like Bradley would up his standings at LWW all-time wise. And Bradley being black, it would shut up all those ridiculous posters who claim that Pac isn't that good because he hasn't fought any black-american fighter yet. So I hope it's Bradley.

I don't mind Pac fighting Valero though, just for the simple reason that Pac would starch Valero and derail the Valero Hype Train.

And Guzman? **** that guy. He's not deserving. And even if he fights Pac, he's gonna lose badly. It'll be just like the Hatton-Malignaggi fight: Pac will walk over anything the slick but feather-fisted guy throws and catch him with big bombs throughout the fight. Only this time, the slick fighter's gonna get brutally KO'd inside 6.

So please let's stop the delusions we have on Guzman. To compete with Pac, first you have to have decent power at the least. Guzman has **** all power. So what's to stop Pac from just walking all over him? Joan has got NOTHING on Manny.

Joan Guzman is not getting any younger. He already ****ed up his chances of getting a big payday when he came in overweight against campbell. That was his chance to take campbell's belt and get big money fight.
