Said that he wants Manny to retire after two more fights......Also says that he would like a fight with Mosley but Mosley has to come down to 143, when asked if the 7 pounds makes a that much of a difference he replied.

Yes it does especially with Manny he started out at 106, but I also know Mosley has a hard time making the weight at 147 which is why he is so strong at that weight he usally comes into the fight at 157-160 so if he wants to fight Manny he is going to have to give up something.

When asked what do you mean by giving up something, well Shane is strong at that weight, my job is to get my fighter every advantage I can, basicly we would make Shane work for it a little harder and it would be something he struggles with during the fight.

in other words not to knock Manny but Roach is sometimes too ****ing honest for his fighters own good, admits DLH Barrera and Morales were shot, Owns up here I mean damn already let your boy get some credit. Dont make it out to seem like the only reason he is winning these big fights is cus they are shot or weight drained.

Roach is not saying anything any objective observer has not pointed out.

Pac still deserves the credit for those victories but you can't discount
    the truth.

Also this whole thing about Pac starting at 106, although a fact, needs to be discarted as a crutch. Pac is a solid 140 now and has usually entered the ring as the bigger man.

lol its cause fight fans aren't able to see anything in grey. Look at how PAcquiao dismantled OScar. The fight wasn't even competitive. So was Oscar drained? of course. But look how bad he got his ass KICKED. A drained fighter will lose a small edge, but he doesn't become a tomato can cause he lost an extra 3 pounds.

boxing fans are so black and white, its ******ed. Roach expects people to have common sense but he is wrong.

Also, Roach says Pac would beat Oscar any day of the week, people discard it. But then he says Oscar was drained and people jump all over it. I think at the end of the day, most fans always wanna discredit whoever is king of the hill, and we all know who that is...

Pac would have beaten Oscar even if there was no weight limit, but of course having the limit at 147 made it easier. Its not like it was a close fight where you could say "if Oscar was a little heavier it would have changed everything" The world is grey, not black and white.

I agree with Roach 147 is not the weight for Manny. 140 is his division now and i think it's very brave for Roach to even let the fight happen at 143. I personally would make Mosley go down to 140.

lol. as if the oscar of that fight would beat that pac at 154. too elusive for him. some boxing fans are too naive. they think that if a fighter is that good, he must concede all the advantages. in the oscar fight, pac moved up a ****ing 12 pounds which is not always mentioned here. but we always hear haters complained of how weight drained oscar was.

laugh all you can spitbucket but even if that fight happened at 154, pac would kick oscar's ass. would you deny this? you fans always mentioned this after the fight but before it, pac was really on the disadvantage going-up 12 pounds while oscar was just trying to go down a mere 3 pounds. remember that he fought forbes at a 150 catchweight with no problem.

No, his point is that Oscar being weight drained is overshadowing all the obstacles Manny had to overcome in order to make this fight happen.

NO need to get all defensive and start name-calling!

Yes Pac moved up and was considered a huge underdog by most of us and did the unexpected but it's hard to deny the fact that DLH was drained. No discredit intended, just a fact

What further proof do you need than Manny came in the bigger man:patsch

In regards to PBF/DLH at 154, close call because Pac has already proven to be a great fighter and had a decent chance of winning this fight but
DLH, as over the hill as he was, would not have been as drained and Pac might have been a bit slower if had put on any more weight which might have made this fight a closer affair!

you're in denial man. serious, serious denial

unless by "closer affair" you mean Oscar might have won 1 round and lasted till the 10th instead of the 9th

You would have a good point if we were discussing this pre-fight but hindsight has proven that DLH had to overcome the weight drain + his deteriorating skills( see " Oscar can't pull the trigger") where as Pac only had to deal with the weight gain. which again, in retorspect, shows that he had no problems with!

In denial of what, that Pac is a great fighter....... Wrong, I've given him plenty of credit for that.

....that DLH was weight drained and over the hill:huh Look in the mirror and you might spot some denial there!
