Pacquiao weighed 144 lbs for Margarito and was eating a ****ing sandwich an hour before the weighin, only a moron would believe Pacquiao cant make it to 140 lbs and make it comfortably without dehydrating.

Would'nt it be better for Pacquiao for the fight to happen at 140 lbs?????

This way he gets his full nights sleep and does'nt have to be awaken to be forced fed a protien shake!:lol::lol::lol::hi:

Does it really matter if the fights is at 140 or 147? Whats the big deal? JMM can come in at his optimum fighting weight and so would Pac. 147 is just a weight limit. Maybe Pac just doesnt like starving himself to make weight. Why would he weight-drain himself again and give JMM an advantage...again.

I mean the last time I checked it is Pac who is the global icon. Why should he concede anything to JMM? If JMM wants the fight so bad than he shouldn't be making Pac jump thru hoops....so stop bitching, 147 insures that both of them can come in at their optimum state.

Why are we even talking about this fight? Didn't schaeffer specifically said unless there's 50/50 purse and full drug testing, fight will not happen?

That just means one thing and one thing only. Schaeffer doesn't want that fight. I mean, Marquez lost to Pac the last time they fought and the first fight should've been a win for Pac because of a scoring error but since it wasn't corrected, it ended up as a draw. Since when did losing to a better boxer give you the right to demand more than
what the winning team want? Marquez should be kissing Pac's ass to even get the fight.

They're running out of boxers to match-up against pac. They have no choice but to back up aging pee-drinking marquez :hey

I vote this as ****** post of the year!

What all non-*******s would want here is as fair a matchup as can be made.
......certainly that would be at 140 lbs.

......I'm through with ******s like yourself. There is evidence all over this thread and all over the internet from quotes from Pacquiao's own camp.
.......he's not a true Welter, he's a junior welter that only masquerades as a true welter only when the name Juan Manuel Marquez is mentioned.

    Pacquiao's afraid of a 38 year old Marquez. I would'nt believe it if I were'nt witnessing it for myself.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

So what exactly is unfair? If the fight limit is at 147 as long as neither Pac nor JMM comes in over it then it is fair because it INSURES both of them the flexibility of coming in at their respective optimal weight. It kills all the weight-draining excuses. If it is at 140, Pac runs the risk of being over, and be in a scenario where he has to starve hinself......there really is nothing ******ed about that logic

....and please are you always this melodramatic? Do u need a tampon?

floyd or just retire. the only way i would want this fight is if pac had one farewell fight in the philippines. marquez has visibly slowed down in his last fight and he should not fight above 135.

There's should be strict stipulation in the contract that pac has no liability whatever happened to jmm if ever this fight is made. And venue of the fight should be made where hospital is just 1 km away from the venue to prevent doa.

So are you of the opinion Mayweather should have fought Hatton at 140 or at a catchweight 143/144? In all likelehood Floyd could've made those weights, and it would've been fairer for Hatton.

If you're happy it was at 147, then your a ****ing hypocrite demanding Pac cut down from the weight he's looked the most phenomenal at, just to give Marquez a better chance at beating him. And to 137? lol

LOL at all you experts who know for sure Pac can get down comfortably to 140. As his trainer has stated, Pac is at his best when he doesn't have to cut and can eat whenever he wants.

Why would they compromise that to accomodate a guy who is the one chasing the fight, trash talks Pac endlessly and is represented by the company which Team Pac has sued for slandering his reputation with baseless PED use accusations?

If the fight is at 147, Pac will come in no more than 144-45 as he felt sluggish at 147 against Clottey. Marquez can in 140-142 or lower if it's more comfortable for him and they can each fight at their optimal weight.

They'd each be about the same weights they were fight night of their last fight, the only difference being neither will be killing themselves to make weight and they should be healthier and at their best.

Marquez can drink all the **** he wants, his thai boyfriend won't even have to quit the golden showers in his mouth. Pac's shown if you're good enough, as Marquez believes he has Pac's number, you can outbox anyone even if you're outweighed by a few lbs.

I can understand Marquez's fans wanting the fight at 140, as they desperately want their man to beat Pac. However GBP and Marquez agreed to fight Mayweather giving up 4 lbs, so from their perspective they have no leverage to reject a fight at 145-147 against Pac.

Agree. Pac should just retire. I mean, Floyd doesn't want to fight. He has a **** load of legal issues. He fights once a year. That one factor will make Pacquiao's win over Floyd pointless. Why? Because just like Mosley who fought once and was dormant for a year. *****s will say Pac should've fought Floyd 6months after beating Mosley. FLoyd got beat because of ring rust. That's typical ***** thoughts right there.

Pac doesn't have anything else to prove out there. He destroyed his own record by being the only person to have 8 titles in 8 different weight class. I already mentioned that Pac fighting Floyd is 5 steps backwards. Not really worth it now. Pac has moved up to a whole different level of greatness.
